We stopped at the beach (Thanks to Ron and Debbie) at Santa Claus Ln.. Pulled up next to the beach and vegged for a while. Sweetheart walked the beach. Met local Airstreamers.
We're Streamin', to Las Vegas tomorrow for Feles (sp.) dia de pollo.
Thanks Holly and don't overdo the Thanksgiving treats. I see a "greyhound" in your future.
*thinking of posting surreptitiously shot pic of widebody, rejecting idea as crass* R

Good morning Cal Streamers and friends,
Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We're doing it today. Yesterday I spent it with my other family at the old firehouse. We had about 25 there with the famililies that showed up. I understand that our cruise director had 26 at Casa Bamasita. How'd that go? Paula, that turkey that Steve is holding looks like it could feed 6 and still weigh 23 pounds. Enjoy the rest of the weekend folks. R

What hints (certainly not rules!) can I offer to first-time participants?
1) Never assume that all Airstream's parked in a group are part of the same rally--you never know--there could be more than one event taking place.
2) Make sure to ask the gatekeeper if someone paid him/her to locate you off in the corner behind the fence.
3) Don't expect the highly paid greeter to come and greet you.
4) Make twice as much chili as originally planned.
5) Don't miss the group field trips
6) Mark you calender for the next event ASAP.
7) Include a big THANK YOU to all for making you feel welcome on your first visit.
My little trailer and I had a great time. Thanks again.
Greg,
It was nice meeting you. Next time, if you play your cards right, we'll let you in to the front row. And we'll get that greeter back on his job. See you soon. Ron

So far its working out extrmely well. Takes less than a half day to fully recharge after an evening and night of lights and furnace. If I had it do do all over again. I would.
