That is the story of my life....if you want rain, just wash your car/truck, and there it comes.
Speaking of leadfooted Hemi friends, there has been a slight change in the time stable, Yellow has been replaced by Red, and Aires is now our favorite sign of the zodiac. My Dad always had a Wagon, I was destined to follow his footsteps, I just have more Power than he did in 1970.

You know... All it takes to set a record is a run at the flats. Bring your helmet pay your fee and your in the line up.
I wonder what the record is for a Moho or a towed trailer.
Time,
Lets see a picture of the new beast.

I agree. Let's see some photos.
As for speed records, I still think a stripped down 20 footer with a 454 can set the land speed record for mohos. One of these days. R

R,
I believe the 20' Classic Moho would be a bit squirly at 200 mph+ due to its compromised wheel base, you would have better luck with stripped down 25'.
And what is this about pictures? I am waiting for someone to peg the new domicile puller, and Mr Goin is not aloowed to guess.

Boat Ride
Okay, this is way, way off topic but when you're far from home with not much to do, you go to the streamer family for distractions. Today, after my meeting the SF Fire Chief we were with arranged for a ride on one of SFFDs Fire Boats around the bay. It was pretty sweet. R

Hi Dave,
It was worth the price of admission: sitting in meetings, talking about high rise fire fighting for the past two days. Ron

Interestingly enough the bay was pretty calm. The surf was immediately under the Golden Gate and we didn't get near that area. R

Ron, I doubt there is a Moho speed record on the books. So why don't you be the first?
I gotta admit the sight of Ron or Deb in a nomex suit and full face helmet hurtling down the 1/4 mile really cracks me up.
O.k. you guys we're not gonna get to see pics of Time's new mule until you guess what it is. So lets get busy here. I really want to see pics of his brand new...

And just for you and the str8s, we went with a color to honor our brave firefighters, Flame Red......even the the ones that cheat....pictures to follow sometime in the not-to-distant future.
*In retrospect I guess I should of held off on updating the profile, although my earlier post referred to by Goin was a strong hint, if not a complete "outing"
kevbo and bam now have company at the Hemi sidebar.

Thanks all..it was tough coming up with a color that was flashier than our previous Screaming Yellow, I kinda think the Flame Red says flashy with a bit more aggression, and a lot more passion, in an Airstream kinda way.

Well, if you can make it to Vail Lake next month, it will be wonderful. Wine tasting outting (for you) and fishing at the pond or the lake (for Steve and Cody). It's a win win situation. However, notreallyarallyrally "surf & turf" at San Clemente will be fun too, and it's not freezin' there either. We'll just have to find something Steve can do to keep him busy there.
Let us know when you decide...of course, just come for both, it's only a couple weeks between the two. You can visit Quartzite in between and do some gems/crystal hunting at their annual Gem Fair. Just sayin'

I’m sorry to be off topic here…
Our family, well the two out of three members old enough to enjoy wine tasting, are still shaking feverishly after the mention of a Temecula winery outing… Does Vail Lake offer shuttle service and baby sitting?
We are literally busting our knuckles to get Vinny (our '84 Sovereign) ready. We already mentioned the functional cooking and plumbing facilities. Officially, as of this moment, we neither leak gray nor black water. Our belly has been riveted back in place. This is a big deal. We’re going out to dinner to celebrate. After washing our hands.
Soon we’ll be attacking semi-optional items: carpet and curtains.
Can’t wait!
