Do they accept reservations or is it first come first served?
Yes, we have a reservation.

Note: they strictly prohibit alcoholic beverages. I have seen people get evicted there for drinking at their campsites. Fortunately, I didn't get caught.
Yes, when we camped there with our Little Guy and TAB, we used big plastic cups.

Heys guys long time no see. Have been following you guys while on the road though. Just got back from a local trip. Got a couple of thoughts and pics to share.
#1 Went to Sea Cliff which is in Janet & Terry's back yard, hey you two, before Arnold closes this wonderful park. They now keep site #1 open for one night stays and its not listed as available on reserve America.
#2 Vintage Trailer Rally Pismo Coast Village....Hey Ron & Debbie the Nomad pic is just for you. Over 200 vintage units most Airstreams and all had stories to tell about vendors and Airforums....had a hoot. Perhaps a rally for next year?
#3 Avila Beach...this is one of our favorite spots along the coast....this time there was a camp host which is new as well as 20 full hook-up sites below along with the 10 up top that will be available by reservation hopefully by years end. Also a new club house available to host a dinner. If you have not been to Avila in awhile its changed, its all new downtown and much improved. This would make a most enjoyable location for a Rally once the reservation system is in place.
sounds great, we have spent a lot of time at our house in San Felipe this year, hopefully folks can make it down, either the Shrimp festival in the fall or Blues fiesta in the spring. We have a campground next door on the beach. Debbie

Well it is summer and we have nothing on the Rally Calendar for the California Streamers. The next Rally is not until October at Kernville. Does anybody have any ideas or suggestions on getting something together?

I was kind of hoping that someone else would volunteer or at least come up with a fresh location that most of us don't know about.....maybe even someone with "connections" that can get us into a great place.

Time, What's that place you camped between L.A. and Bakersfield off I 5. It had a pool, mini golf course and was near a lake?

Sounds Hot! Not hot in the sense of being cool. If ya get the drift. Anywhere Central, is going to be hot. Not all of us look good unclothed to the point of being cool, just sayin. Maybe along the Coast but not on the Coast???????????? Yeah, connections, thats what we need..........

Just a thought last week we tried Pismo and Avila Beach and there was nothing to be had, must be that summer thing, anyway Morro Dunes had openings and was just a short drive from Pismo. Have not been there in over 15 years and enjoyed the view as well San Simeon and the wineries in SLO.

Paula,
I got to watch your trailer during it's rebirth when visiting Uwe's shop.
In the rough it was beautiful and the systems design is fantastic.
I keep waiting for Uwe to update his site as I am dying to see the finished trailer. If I could get to Malibu to visit you I surely would.
