Details, details...
Cachuma Lake Recreation Area
HC 59, Highway 154
Santa Barbara CA 93105
Recorded info: (805)686-5054
(Lots of info...they even tell you how to spell "Cachuma")
Cachuma Lake Recreation Area, Santa Barbara County Parks, Santa Barbara, California
Santa Barbara County Parks, Santa Barbara, California
There are 2 hour "Eagle Cruises" offered on the weekend if you want to hear nature talk. $15/per Smurf.
Camping is $25/night for full hookups.
We (Women's Rally) stayed in the Barona area with full hookups.
Seemed like a nice area...anyone have other thoughts?
There is a store, snack shop/grill, gas station, nature center, laundromat, and boat launch etc. within the campground.
There is a group area for 32-100 peeps but I think our family will be smaller and probably okay to wing it. There are no reservations and it's all first come first serve.
Check out the maps. Planners feel free to organize. I only organize social events. I like to wing it.
That's all I know.
Regards and rally on,
J. Louise

Barona looks good to me, as long as we have a view, room service, fresh ice, and a newspaper.

I really, really, really, hope to know a very nice couple with a new house near San Felipe by spring. We could have a heck of a party!

Home grown baja friends Ron and Debbie tossed in with the German tour guide Uwe would make a Mexico trip very inviting for the timid travelers of the California Streamers. After all, it is Baja CALIFORNIA.

Only a fool would miss this one....or a working stiff. Neither of which we plan to be by then. To paraphrase Ms. Smith: Ya AND Hoo.

Yikes. More rallying...and internationally.
I may not have a home to come home to.
I doubt if anyone will remember me.
If the dog bites me, I'm in trouble...

Memo: All bark no bite?
Dear fellow CA streamers....disturbing news I hear through the grapevine. Many of you went to the ABQ Bellon festival, as is clearly evident. Unfortunately, I could not attend, due to biz obligations.
So, I figured I could let you guys head out on your own. But then, what kind of feedback do I get from the locals?
Mellow Ca streamers? Going to bed early? No terror, no chaos, no streaking, no mayhem, no affairs, no mischief, no dancing on tables, no offensive acts of any sort? Is this the thanks I get for allowing you guys to head out on your own with no supervision/instigations of malicious acts? Next time, if you're going to leave a g-string in front of someone's trailer, REMOVE THE PRICE TAG!
That's it. No more leaving the state without me. The M-ball from now on will be the Martini Ball. No more wimpy Margaritas. No bedtime before 3:00am. Larger campfires, and louder music. Maybe Rock bands would do the trick. I'll take to the appropriate people at CAA. Please know that you're being watched from now on. I expected more...

Seriously, we wouldn't want to cause any trouble. Better bring the dogs.

Takes surveillance. Love it south of SF. Quiet, secluded sandy beaches...let's talk, I'm in. It's one of the last places that remind me of Lost Paradise in driving distance.
