You are right. It is hard to find the right word to describe what Uwe is doing with the trailer...he is an artist and a craftsman and we are thrilled he is working on our trailer. p

and even more difficult to photograph
yet always fascinating
Kernville Pepe le Peeper

Just thought you might want to know...

Okay. I've been mulling it over for two days now and I still can't figure out what that picture has to do with a peeper. A puffer, yes. A peeper, no. Help me out here. R

Dang. Forgot to google. Thanks Richard. Just a poor boy from the East LA here. Don't get out much, you know. Ron
So Ron, when did Tujunga become part of East LA? Try holding your map right side up.
Besides LA geography, how is the Baja trip shaping up, did you fill Uwe's slot yet? Someone with an Airstream should snag that ocean front space and take advantage of going to baja in a group with experienced "south of the border" streamers.

John, John, John. I expected more. If you look closely, you'll see that I said "from East LA". This is as opposed to "currently residing in". End of English lesson.
As for the "I'm in, I'm in, I'm out" crowd, our 5 to 7 units are now down to 2. Work issues, truck issues, issue issues. We'll miss their smiling faces, but we understand that other priorities have to be tended to. So Roger and Roxie (caadoptees) and the str8s will do what we can to muddle through and have a good time at the Fiesta. Ron

OK, you caught me, being an old Whittier boy, I knew what you meant, and of course your thing for Chebys is also a clue...hehe
As for San Felipe, Mexico, I am glad we threw in our towel early so that we didn't suffer the reputation of the "innie-outies". I couldn't bear to let the Chief down like that, especially after he took me to the highest attented professional baseball game in history. And I am not even going to start harping on the skill it took the other Chief to snag on-track RV parking for Laguna Seca in August...what a team!
Bottom line...if anybody wants to caravan to Baja (only a few hours south of the border) to a private RV location on the sand/ocean, just holler and the str8s will hook you up. A great opportunity for newbies or oldtimers.

Sigh...
I'd love to go to Baja...darn family commitments.
You mean the "other" family? You must since there is no possible way that you would want to make any commitment to your Airstream family, at least not before 'final four" last call. Where are my tots?

Ok, brother John....you can make up for this most annoying innie-outie comment by telling me more about the Laguna Seca in August trackside parking situation....

I think we ought to make another attempt at it in the fall. Lets see how this campground works out, maybe we can start there and then mozy down to Punta Estrella Paradise the next day...or whatever.
Late October/early November is usually pleasant down there.
Or New Years.....
