I know that the website says that, but in our experience they do not run it that way when you show up. Last time we were there they charged us for one space for trailer and truck. Being among the hardcore unemployable I may just make a few more phone calls. Heck, maybe I will drive up on a weekday and conduct a sting operation to see how much they actuallly charge me for the Caravel and Expedition.

East Shore RV Rally?

Hello, was reading another thread about the Quartzsite rally and the comments made by Bamcamper & Ron & Debbie about East Shore RV park in San Dimas on their return. Its a great park and we hold our Q-Fest there every year for the past 6 years and always book a year in advance for the California BBQ association. Here is a link for this years q-fest. Next year Feb. 13-14-15 2009. We have tri-tip dinner usually on friday, whole smoked pig for Sat. and smoked briskit, shoulder, baby backs, spareribs, chicken and anything else you can smoke with fantastic sides. It's free to members 35 per year or 10 per person to eat. Want to learn to smoke its a must do event, low key and its our way to get together w/o a BBQ cook off. A rally during the summer is mimimun year in advance, they are quite busy and the good sites are always gone. Sites from B167 thru B180 are popular offering view of downtown L.A. the lake as well as the airport.

Main Page - CBBQAwiki

East Shore RV Park 800 809- 3778 909 599-8355

There are 400 plus campsites with 50%being fulltimers paying 800 per month. CCBQA Q-fest rate 70 for Friday & Sat. If there is interest in doing this event I would not mind helping put together but would need help from those who are more seasoned rally Masters. Enjoy your weekend everyone.....Kip

Wow Kip

thanks for the info, that could be a fun rally. Debbie

We stayed in "A" which had a view of Brackett field. Some of the "B" sites seemed to have a lot of 57 freeway noise while I was out walking the hounds.

Ron and I recently retired and are always up for trips. And since we are almost neighbors........we could caravan.

The THING wins hands down for

character and panache......but this little baby is a winner in the HP category. Oh my........I could get into trouble with this little one. Ron has been obsessed with getting his garage done and has not even taken a picture of it.
