Pismo is great. Lots to do and a great place to do nothing also.

Looked @ pismo sands site says fire/barbecue pits available at selected sites and for rent .Looks like we have 5 campers signed up to date 3 have RSVP trying to get a bigger turn out .

The Can Clan has missed you all as well. Wasn't quite sure if I'd me fit to do Calico, but we're goin' give it a shot.
We're on for 3/20, 3/21 and leaving Sun 3/22 to celebrate the Vernal Equinox (and anything else that comes up).
We are in spot B-6. The B's have full hookups and are plentiful. The easiest way to make the reservation is to go to www.sbcountyparks.com and select "Calico". You can view the spot and make the reservations online.
The pricing is $25/nite plus $5 reserv. fee. The price includes entry to the Ghost Town. If you have a problem w/ this, "Who ya gonna call...!"*
We are trying to adjust the sched to make it to Pismo. Hope to see you soon.

Thanks for the quick response - we have booked into pismo 4/28/09-5/3 or 4....we are in spce #6.
I'm doing the calico reservation right now---------------really getting excited about seeing everyone & being in the group again- our airstream has definitely been calling us.....

Boondocking in German Village btwn 1450-1600 AD (CE)!
The Koronenburg Renaissance Festival in Corona CA, will be open until 9 PM on May 23, 2009.
Can't say that we know what happens at night, 'cause no one that we know who stayed has lived to tell about it.
The regular admission to the festival applies, however there is no fee for the camping. Yes, Boondocking in the camping area is FREE (as boondocking should be). No reservations are needed and they are pet friendly. I don't have pic of the actual sites that are available, but I'll see what I can find. If anyone has camped @ site before, plz chime in.

Jazz @ Vail Lake Resorts (Temecula, CA)
We're returning to Vail Lake Resorts on July 10, 11, 12. The Chardonnay area is completely available at the time of this posting.
This is one of our favorite sites. We're hoping to take in some of the Jazz Festival, but I'm sure we'll spend plenty of time on the Water Slide!

Looking forward to a "ghostly" good time. We'll arrive before checkout time. If anyone is interested, open to a small potluck on Saturday. Recent life experiences have me very appreciative of ability to welcome Spring (& today for that matter).
This is a small gathering, but we've Rallied with the best. We may not have a TTQ, Karaoke DJ, animal wrangler, or lounge lizard to stir up controversy, but we'll do our best to share their legendary exploits.
Appears to be many open sites, so stop in on your way to/from Vegas. Remember, "what happens in Calico...schucks, nothing happens in Calico."
