Ron, do you have so many cars that you need a stripped parking area at the house

I'm very confuessed, this is already just like work, I need a nap.
The week before or right after July 4 are always the worst to travel, since most people take their vacation around the 4th. I suggest mid-July, after the 4th crowds are back to work, we might have a better chance to get a nice site and less traffic.

Just a thought.

Yes. But in this case, ever the punctual one, I was an early arrival at a local show. And yes, it has the juice to pull a 'stream. I think it would look pretty good in front of a vintage.

Like Bam, we have driven a long day or two to be able to stay someplace longer and take in the sites and just relax.

What seemed to work for our "caravan" to Albuquerque was to pick some key stopping points along the way, make our own reservations for the same nights, and then everyone travels to those campgrounds at their own pace.

If you want to take your time and stop on the way or race there as fast as you can and set up your lounge chair, it's up to you. Those who want to caravan can, or you can go on your own and meet up later.

So we need to pick a destination and then a starting point or place to meet for the first night. Then we can fill in the rest.

Whew,
Bam

The important thing is that no one should try and keep up with the kevbo/bam freight train as it lumbers down the road at speeds that would suck the back hair off of a fly....just saying

time

O.K., what if the train takes off around the middle of July, has a
"meeting up" spot somewere in the middle of CA, with a midway or turn around point (for some) being Crater lake, its about 780 miles from here, a few rv parks in the area ( Prospectrvpark.com) next to Crater lake or closer to the ocean, (tutlerockresorts.com)

Ron, I was wondering the same - can't see the rear, although it was made before I was in any case!

Crater Lake, for some, we will be going on up through Oregon if anyone wants to keep going North, we would like to stay out about 2 weeks, any ideas for a "meeting-up spot" the first day.

By the way, Ron, Judi and I are sure glad you and Milo are doing better,
regarding your car, very nice, love to see a vintage AS behind that one

I think the TJ team are heading north-ish in July.

How about New Mexico in spring or fall?
