Hope that works better for Milo. Make sure you order the right size.
Good luck.

Now that is a sport that hobbits excel in...go kart racing...light bodies (read short) and quick hands (read stubby) make for great racers (read losers).

Now you got me doing it...darn!

July road trip

When est. miles that can be covered in a days drive, what's a good #, I was thinking around 350 to 390, pull out of camp around 9:00 stop around 4:00 or 5:00.

How far up North, is to far ?, go along the coast at all, or stay in the middle.

What type of camping is most prefered, along rivers, in the tall pines,I think it would be cool to be able to find spots that we could circle the wagens, not all the time but it would fun to do.

And does anyone have anything they would love to see again.

And maybe the hardest question is what kind of time frame is needed, I now some people will come and go along the way, but overall 10 days, two weeks, or more.

Just asking,

I'm open to most anything mentioned, but I will say that 7 or 8 hours on the road starts to feel a little like work instead of play. Especially if that is the daily dose. I'd prefer to make it 4-5 hours. That way there would be some more time to enjoy wherever it is that we stop. Ron

Scenic is always a priority for me.
Doesn't matter if it's ocean or mountains or rivers or desert.
Or even a quaint or scenic town to explore nearby.
I'd rather boondock than be packed in a cement parking lot.
We could alternate boondocking and hookups if necessary.

And I agree on the time spent driving though an occasional long day to get somewhere is okay too. I'd rather push it one day and maybe stay 2 days at the next place. But that probably all depends on where we are going. Great campgrounds are not always conveniently located 4-5 hours apart.

Where are we going anyway??

Great idea.
Much better than a typical cone.
How's Milo doing?

And can we get a shot of the rest of the car?
Just askin'...

Very cool looking, Milo...

I am sure canines and felines alike are flocking to order this new accessories for the season. Milo might have started a new trend...

Did he take a swim?

When I was a kid growing up in Eastern Oregon the caravans would come to the Round Up and park at the mental hospital [now a prison]. All shiny and bright and I'm sure lots of "my oh my."

Road Trip

Ron, your right, I don't know what I was thinking, the last thing I want is it to feel like work. I guess it really depends on how far you want to go, and how long you want to stay out, but then thats always been the question.

Like Bam, we have driven a long day or two to be able to stay someplace longer and take in the sites and just relax.

How about starting out by saying those of use that can start the journey, say, just after the 4th of July and collect peeps along the way with a half way point being some place around Crater Lake, with a travel time of around 3 days, or 1- 1/2 days for the scouts (you know who you are)

I'm very confuessed, this is already just like work, I need a nap.

Milo is doing pretty well, thanks. He seems happier with the new look. As for the car, you guys know how I hate to talk about cars. But since you asked, here is a full shot. I bought it 23 years ago, from the original owners, and haven't changed much. Ron
