Even more fun...

Next year's Kernville 6 appears to be on for October 18-21, 2012 so anyone who is rally inclined go ahead and get a jump on reservations.

Not sure yet if I will joining the Rivernook shenanigans but in any case it will be another great rally.
We do know that the Vintage Rally is on a different weekend than ours for 2012. Reservations should be much easier to get.

So happy trails to you until we meet again.

And remember to get your shots early (and often).
Regards,
Sponge Bath Betty

Had a Great First TIme!!!

Thank you all for the wonderful hospitality shown to us first timers.

We picked up our '49 Trailwind from the restorer the day before the rally so this was the restored trailer's maiden voyage and our first trip trailering. The last trip the trailer made was to Washington State in 1970 shortly after my parents bought it from our Canadian cousins.

We stopped at Camping World in San Bernardino on the way up and our son (an experienced trailerer) helped us get a number of essentials. The only thing we forgot was a jack for the rear of the trailer but we left it hooked up to the truck and were fine.

It was so great meeting all of you at the potluck (yum) and my hat is off to all of those that dressed for Halloween; very creative costumes. Thanks to all who came by to see our little trailer, it was fun showing it off.

We plan to be there next year and not having to share with the vintage trailer people should insure good spots close together.

Happy Trailering,
Tom & Patti

It was very nice meeting you both at the rally. You have a beautifull vintage trailer and I particularly liked that it has been in your family so long. We are also planning to be there next year also. Hope to see you before next year while on the road.
