Well....just notified by DMV that I was one of the select 200 whose position on the DGS was “lost” or killed by a software bug. 😕
They say, the 200 will have another chance in July but in the meantime, ‘try and get tickets’!
So here I am, cap in hand. 😞. If there are any unclaimed, unused or surplus tickets, please let me know.

That really sucks! I hope they get this straightened out sooner than July. Good luck.

What group are you working with to get the DGS? and did you print out the tickets; do you think those are actual tickets?

Printed tix
Word on the virtual street is the printed ticket option was only offered for a short time until they fixed the glitch.

My camp, PolyParadise, has been at BM for 21 years this year. I actually purchased the tix from the BM website. Why would you think these are bogus?

Your ticket purchase is valid, Canyonman. But from what I've gathered from other BM forums the printed paper tickets were a glitch. No one was supposed to have the option of printing tickets. It was a vendor screw up. They fixed it and from then on the printing option went away.
Never fear, because the real tickets, the lovely colored embossed ones we usually get, will be mailed out in late June of July, as per usual.

PS...bring your printed ones to Gate just in case. 😉

I never had any fear and there was no option to print tickets when I made my purchase. Our camp work weekend is March 16 and I am looking forward to seeing everyone again. The following Monday, March 20, we are off to BEquinox for the burn in California City. Hope everyone on here gets a ticket. I will be looking for the AS camp so I can say Hi to everyone. Hope it is in the WWW.

I understand. I was just responding to your "why do u think these are bogus" statement, but it's easy to see you're a long-time Burner and you know the drill. This w/b #15 for me....consecutive!
BTW, is PolyParadise still doing the Human Carcass Wash? Missed it the last few years.

Hello again to the lovely Airstreameri folk!
Jester and I look forward to seeing you all again this year, especially those that we missed last year, like Punky & Shep.
I'll be camping with Destiny Lounge this year, instead of Radio Electra, so I'll probably be in the 3 o'clock sector and closer to you.

It was weird to see the option to print the DGS tickets when I bought mine, but I did it anyway, just to see what would happen. Then, when my friend bought her DGS tickets, the option to print them was there one second and had disappeared the next.

*Need 2018 camp photos!*
Requesting last year photos for current camp application. Merci beaucoup!
Camp Photos
You may optionally upload up to 2 photos of your camp from your most recent year.
For Theme Camps, Villages, and Camps in Village
• We are most interested in your camp’s frontage and interactivity.
• We are also interested in seeing your camp in the daytime and how it looks at night.
• We also prefer seeing your camp’s built structures and public spaces more than your wonderful faces for these purposes.

Very Sad news
Very sad news. Our mentor, started our first airforums Burning Man thread, full time airstreamer, artist, musician best friend has passed. Some of us have some tee shirts he made for our camp years ago. ArtStream, Radio Mike, Michael DePraida has signed off.
I asked him several months ago what was wrong and he said lots of organs were shutting down.
He instigated our airforums Burning Man thread I suspect it would be 2008 after BurnStream court came out of 8:15 and G country over to 3:00 and had a "placed theme camp" in 2007, the next year BurnStream Court went back to their normal grounds... with about 20 of us hangers on squatted land around the same area we are in nowdays. ArtStream started the thread that kept us together on 2008 and 2009, then BamCamper took over starting the thread each year.

Here's the 2009 thread that ArtStream started, and a lot of our history.
