Hey all!

Connie (Squeeze) and I arrived back in Park City after an easy peasy exodus. I spent yesterday cleaning, wiping, washing, and reflecting on the week. Thanks to everyone for the amazing companionship. I’m so grateful to be part of this Airstreameri group. Until next year!

~Kim (Twig)

P.S. I left my gray aluminum fold up table outside Zep’s place. Whomever grabbed it, enjoy it and maybe I’ll see it next year.

Home #inBend...easy cleanup, as I missed most of the dust. Best Burn Ever! Love you guys! I have photos to share, in Twig's Dropbox (or, am I setting that up? happy to...) and at Jon's FB group (membership pending). Miss you already. Thanks Camp Organizers and all who participated with their special gifts of self and goodies and decor. *mwah*! Archie

Gigi/Jethro/BeeKeeper pulled into Portland around 6 pm on Monday. Left camp (hope we weren't too loud, ha different kind of noise vs. DOOT DOOT) a bit before 5 am and rolled out to pavement in ~ 40 minutes! Bubbles (Jean) trailed us home and stayed the night before heading home on Tuesday. Waiting for Michel now to bring bar and also stay for night. Mini-decompression here for sure! BK flying out tomorrow. Miss you all and agree it was an awesome Burn. Our best for sure. Love you beautiful shiny people! Thanks for everything.

Hi all. I am still on my way to Kansas City to meet up with Jilly Bean. Scott, Dean and I were the last to leave camp, shortly after Michel pulled out on Tuesday morning. I dropped the guys at the Burner Express Bus depot and then swung by 7:00 & D to pick up my ride share, the 29 year old German girl, Janneke. I had the van all Jethro'd up with 7 bikes piled onto the 4 bike hitch rack, and with the interior stuffed with gear belonging to me, Dean, Scott, and Ranger Kashka (she shares my storeroom in Fallon). Janneke was awesome: pulling on the work gloves in Fallon and helping me cram all that gear into the 5x10 storeroom, and then taking turns driving with me all the way to Salt Lake City, where I dropped her with her friend. I drove another 30 minutes to Park City and spent the night with Squeeze in her lovely guest room ( thank you for the exquisite unlimited water shower). Altogether a 12+ hour day of driving, something that I would never do on my own. Making the connection with Janneke was a stroke of Playa magic.

Now I plan to travel more slowly until I get to KC. "They got some crazy little women there . . . ", and I've got one wating for me.

Can't wait to see everyone next year. Best Burn ever! I love you all!

Sadly, I'm home. A long soak at the Surprise Valley Hot Springs felt good on the bones, and it's nice to sleep in my own bed, but my heart is still in the dust! I am already planning for next year for the Vah-Gen-Nah's 4th iteration!

A huge "Thanks" to everyone who participated and helped me one way or another, with the MV - I couldn't have done it all alone.

This years' camp was superlative - We all comer together so well and almost effortlessly. Everyone in our camp participates and contributes in a way that some would say is anarchy, but we mesh and we have all we need. Airstreameri is the Best. I know we all hope that next year Bam and Ron, Bill and Annie and Frank and Billie will join us to make it perfect.

Hugs!

M

Well, I have made it to Kansas City and have met up with family: Jilly Bean, Huggy Bear, and my daughter Nicole. Nicole and her husband are making noises about coming to the 2019 Burn.

I have had no travel troubles to speak of. We will have a wedding weekend here (Jilly's niece is getting married Sunday) and then back to Tulsa on Monday. I am missing the Playa right now!

Aw I missed my Airstreameri Family this year.
Sounds like it was a good group and a great time!
Glad everyone made it home safely and hope all can head back to the playa next year.

Nice photos Perry. 👍🏼

I was curious about Exodus this time. Last year the gate road was so torn up that is was a really rough drive out. How’d it go this time?

Stay dusty and keep in touch!
Cheers and ❤️,
Bam

Great photos Perry!

Did anyone recorded Michel's poetry? I like to hear again when I feel like things are moving too fast.

Bam, we missed you too!

I second Obi, gate road was MUCH better this year. We went to the far right lanes and only hit a few minor ruts early Monday morning. 2017 Exodus shook quite a few things loose on our trailer (and our bodies ) and we had to stop to secure the peace sign. Was also difficult then to switch lanes in the heavy traffic to avoid all the items that had vibrated off vehicles...

I want to thank everyone for the warm welcome given to our kids, Walter and Kelly, they really enjoyed the camp and all of you. They hope to return in two years time. The camp is very special to us and we will miss all of you until we meet again next year.

We departed camp at 3:30am on Monday Morning. Gate road rolled without a stop all the way to the pavement, and compared to 2017 it was spectacular. We reached Sparks at 7am and visited our favorite breakfast stop "the squeeze in". Moved on to Cabela's to dump and sleep for a few hours. The drive into silicon valley was a traffic nightmare but we got home before dark.

The talks this year were great. From Shrooms to Immediacy, much to consider... I remain enchanted by the diversity contained within the camp.

See you again when we rise up out of the dust, Cosmic and Spitfire

Just got home from the wedding in Kansas City last night. Spent a day cleaning up the van while in KC - Huggy Bear was there and helped me. What a nice, long trip: Aug 14th-Sept 10th in the van. You would think that I would be happy to be home, but I am already planning my next trip!

I know that it is taking me a long time to circulate the contact list that I collected, but I will get it done either today or tomorrow. Thanks Twig for all of the photos! She will get everyone access once I get the list out.
