We do have an amazing bar (thank you Rex and friends) that is open for anyone to step up and serve whatever they would like to share with our camp mates and the community at large. We serve everything from espresso, to warm cookies and cupcakes, fresh fruit, and of course a variety of refreshing beverages.

Feel free to bartend anytime the mood strikes!

Greetings,

I won't be able to camp with you since I'm part of the wine cellar @ the French Quarter and already have my campsite planned out. This is my second time to Burning Man in recent history but I'm one of the black rock pioneers having attended in the early 90's.

Anyway, I have two Argosy's. One I bought in California that's currently in storage in Fernley. The other one is here in Michigan and I'm in the process of fixing her up with new plumbing, etc. It should be ready to go on time, you can follow my progress by searching my posts.

Hopefully I will be able to hang out with you folks this year. The first Airstream I saw in the Playa must have been in 1992, they were hot air balloon people and they invited me in for a beer.

Please stop by for a glass of wine when you're out and about, we'll be at 4:30 & Esplanade.

John

Yes please!

Does anyone need an extra bike? The MD girls' bikes are in my garage... one needs some serious work but the other is ok. Will sell unless I have a taker here. It's a smaller mountain bike.

BTW they've sold their tix. 😓

I just had a gray tank added but this seems like a good gray water evaporation device.

I really look forward to seeing you guys on the playa again this year!

I'll be camping with Radio Electra (89.9FM, BRC's best Pirate Radio) once again, but like last year, I'll no-doubt be pestering you friendly folks far too often.

At least this year I've got all of my little old Argosy's electrical problems sorted-out! ;-)

My only concern is being able to get rid of about 30 gallons of gray water. I see there is a service for that for $60. Do I need to contact them now or will we do that as a group camp?
Thanks, Steve

Usually we could flag down any vacuum truck and they would serve us as needed. The last couple of years those guys have a booked up dance card so maybe we should look into getting onto their "appointment" schedule earlier in the week for a group dump about mid Thursday after our annual pilgrimage to the temple. Most of us could use an evacuation before the end of the week.
Yeesh, we're scheduling our week to the hour already.

I'm ready to discuss dark matter and energy, perhaps discovery of life on all those little exoplanets Kepler has found. I have managed my way onto the NASA astrophysics decadal survey committee and we are also in the midst of working the early phase of WFIRST. There is amazing stuff going on in astrophysics today. The universe is very different place than what we thought. Check out https://wfirst.gsfc.nasa.gov

I will be at BM for the first time this year. My 1976 Caravel will be at the Pineapple Motel camp at 4:30 and Plaza. Say hello and enjoy some pineapple! Where is the Airstreameri camp?

Whoops 1966 CARAVEL - but you caught that, right? Does anyone tape windows or otherwise limit dust entry somehow? Thanks.

So sorry to hear that Kenny. This has been a tough year for a lot of us.
But we will carry on and hope to see you on the playa next year.

All the best to you and yours.

Yes. Lots of us tape the cracks and widow seams.
It does help. A little.

Mmm pineapple!
We will be somewhere around 2:45 and J.
It's somewhat flexible but look for all the aluminum.
Come by and make a postcard to send home some love.
We will stamp and mail them for you. (Thanks Annie and Bill)

Dusty cheers!

Hey all

Our first Burn will have to be postponed at least a year. We bought GNewel's tix a few weeks ago. Since then, we also bought a home in Breckenridge and will be moving here full time. We have to go back East this month and get our home there on the market for early September. Only so many life events at one time.

So we have two tix and a vehicle pass to sell for what GNewel, and in turn we paid: $1,055.94. Please PM me or email me at arfusa01@gmail.com. I would like to keep these within the Airstreamerii Camp family so will wait a few days before posting elsewhere.

Best, Allen

Jilly Bean and I are on our way to the playa, and 6 days into our trip by way of Bozeman, Seattle, Oregon (for the eclipse), and maybe Sacramento to see our daughter. Shall we bring stamps for the post office? Are Annie and Bill coming this year? I hate it that we will be missing the 5 persons that I have already heard are not coming: the Maryland girls, the gyno's and Kenny.

What else should we be bringing? Stamps and something for the bar, anything else?

The VVV is all loaded and ready to go with 20 gallons of fog juice, 20 gallons of bubble juice, 800 new ie more lights; new clutch, improved ventilation, bright forward pointing nav lights, cushions, improved and safer seating and of all things, a spare tire!

Jean and I will take turns on a tour every night and need a volunteer to act as a guide on each evening trip. So..... if you want to contribute a few hours of your time with no sweat involved.....:-)

We arrive on the 23 and will take a day or three to unpack, rig and set up.

Looking forward to seeing you all and renewing dusty friendships !
