Hope all of you have a wonderful holiday btw. Question, is there a central shade structure that everyone uses or does everyone do their own structure. I am coming next year with my friend who is 70 and with 2 women, we have a bit more of a challenge getting a big sturcture together. Suggestions? Thx!

As Perry said a new thread will begin in about a month. In the meantime read all you can on the Burning Man web site and blog. Also:

BTW-I'm 73 and the heat did not bother me. The expanse of BRC is measured in miles and must be walked or biked, often through the super-fine playa dust. You must be in shape. And I can't emphasize the importance of a high quality dust mask, not the cheap paper ones held on by a rubber band. The miles-long road in and out of BRC is so dusty you cannot see the road at times. I would suggest if anyone has a breathing problem or asthma to skip Burning Man.

The carport structure will be there, it needed more use during the week. Here's a couple pictures of it in action:

Yes and Cindy is behind her. There is another photo of Cindy too, further up. She is next to the lady dancing in the bell bottoms I think! Gail, we did not manage to get tickets yet so please let us know if you hear of any.
