Group Photo

Well, large group photo. Got this from Nathan on the [RenoList], but that is one poor resolution, can't even detect our street:

Passing this along....

You know those satellite pass-overs the past few years during Burning Man? Such as this one:

http://twitpic.com/2p2bpz

This Burning Man, GeoEye's GE1 Satellite will do a capture over BRC starting at *precisely* 11:45:40 am on Friday August 31st.

Don't try to supply the city with postage stamps! That's the rest of us' job. I usually bring a few books of postage stamps for the table. We're gifting the cards, and maybe we can even put a stamp on it if we can. The post office also gets gifted postage during the week for the postage challenged.
I'm hoping lots of us will bring lots of cards for the table.
And then there is the pony girl express for BM intra mail delivery. I laughed so hard when I loaded the photos, I may have to volunteer to dress up as a pony and be led around to deliver post cards.

I'd plan on the tanks being full by Friday for birgins; days may vary by years of experience and numbers of happy campers.
A question about those trucks. I read that their hoses only reach 30 feet. Have you had problems with them being able to reach the necessary end of the trailer?

Best regards,

Announcing the Trailer Park Trash Walk in Theatre

Yes Siree!

Walk right in,
Sit right down,
Get your pop corn 'n beer!

Enjoy fine entertainment with the lastest in audio visual technology ( almost) A 55" rear projection TV!!

The BurningMAn Trailer Park Trash Walk in Movie Theater is on!

Featuring the complete, full, uneditied 6 seasons on the one and only, famous Trailer Park Boys - Ricky, Julian and Bubbles!

Shows Every Night !

LOL I am dragging this behemoth to BRC all the way from Canada - I dont want to drag it back! So its free to anyone after the burn! If any of you have popcorn makers perhaps you could bring them, and as well, if someone could make a sign for the theatre - cardboard or otherwise.... That would be cool/.

See you there!
Cheers!

Haven't had any problems so far. We try to keep passage ways open for those who may need pumping. If you think you're going to need it, just make sure there is access. Not everyone gets pumped and some do fine without it depending on your tanks, how many people etc. I've done it both ways. Some times you are not there when the truck comes by.

Provided we have enough sun for our panels I will be happy to pop up corn in the microwave. Probably won't get a chance to make sign though.

Hoping to put the post card table that we're hosting under our awning which is about 11ft out from our trailer, we also have a shade shelter on the opposite side that protrudes about 3ft we would need some space for tie downs on both. Not sure if you are sitting with a compass, protractor and slide rule to figure this out, or if we should just come early Monday morning? If AS wrangling is anything like the goat wrangling we do, it's pretty much seat of the pants.

No worries Holly. Wrangling is wrangling for sure. It all works out. It never seems to follow an exact plan anyway. It depends on arrival times and who fits in where.

It is supposed to be especially dusty and windy this year so you may want to put your awning down depending on how secure it is if you will be away from camp for a long time.

Planning to use rebar for tie downs. What is your ETA?
