Rich, where will you be camped, or is that a closely guarded secret?

Is the 2am burn going to be listed in the What Where When? If not, I want to be sure to find out where it is. What a year it's been.

Not sure what we can use a poraband on, but bring it if it wants to come.
There's vacuum truckss roaming the playa most days, and they like being flagged down for RV's with tanks to empty. They usually do a spotless job, but some of our older airstreams have a connection that they don't have. Somebody in camp usually has the crossover attachment, plus they are a Vacuum truck, just connect the hoses. Spendy, like $60 or $65 though.

You can go to Reno, then on to Fernley and north to Gerlach (the red route below) or through Alturas and Cedarville (the blue route). There is a long Burning Man web page with details about all the things available in Cedarville (the last chance to stock up).

I've done the Reno route several times--the roads are good, but you need to check on the fire near Lassen NP. Roads may be closed. If you take the blue route, you have a choice of how to get over to the Klamath Falls area to get to highway 139. Highway 140 is a more mainline road than 66.

We're in Klamath Falls, spending the nite. See you guys in the morning. The mosquitos here are swarming so thick they look like clouds.

Adios,
Dan

we're not dusty!! we're not happy!!

damn. we blew a tire mid Nevada. when it blew it took off part of the 'stream.
nothing too bad (we hope). anyway, we came on into Reno and have an appointment to have it looked at Tuesday AM. second tire this year. the mister thinks the axle may have a problem ... one tire wears unevenly.
