Just some paperwork here, there's two BurningMan 2011 Rally RSVP lists; if you go to the list without logging on are: anderite, Bam, jhelion, JitneyBead, Rhyder. If you log on then go to the list, are Barts and webspinner, big-boss, calahan, CharlyF, ClayC, glbtrotter, jaojamjab, MarkParker and another unit, mebenigno, NevadaGeo, Zeppelinium. There's lots of NEW names on the list we haven't seen participating here on the planning thread, and a few here participating that haven't RSVPd. I'm anticipating lots of exciting participation on playa by the new silent folks that have signed up, but it will help to fill out the multipage mindnummmming application to know bits about it beforehand. Somebody send some of the new folks a note with some of their work assignments for community interactivity, thanks. Go to the Rally Calendar, go to the bottom and find the two miniature month callendars, click on the right one until August shows up, then click on the 28th, viola! the BM Rally shows up.

Or just click on this. Then go to the bottom of the page and click on RSVP "Yes" and "submit."

If anybody is interested, they can go to youtube and search for leila lopez. She has sevral songs posted. Also search for "bacon cologne", don't know if it's for real but it is funny.

Hey Chollabill I like the idea of "real" entertainment to "class up" our camp.
Hope she is willing to pick a time and entertain the masses.

Cahalan, just read up a little on our past misposts and join in. As a burner virgin, you job will be mostly to explore the artwork and report what you find every day, and generally try to be a nuisance er help around dinner. Hope you can eat cause we have some first class chefs around.

Somebody want to do the verbosity here for me? Probably the most important paragraph we submit for our placement.
Also, page 6 of the application: )Our Leave no Trace Plan and Pledge:____________ )our LNT Contact Name, )LNT contact email. Anybody wish to send me their email to put in the application to be responsible for final MOOP patrol?

I've been trying to reply to a private message from NevadaGeo but I just can't seem to get it right. So, I'll post to everyone. Leila will be camping in the tent area with family and friends. She will be bringing a battery powered amp so will be able to reach a large crowd. Sorry I can't tell you when or how often she will perform. I just kinda casually asked her if she would be interested in performing in our camp and she responded enthusiastically. I don't want to impose too much and I'm sure she will be at BRC for the same reason will all go...to take in as much of the wonder we can. I'd like to leave it up to her when and how often she performs. Maybe if we kept bacon on the grill 24/7.

Well OK, I'm going to try and see if Leila will turn this into a major production with help from you all. We have a stage manager as in smoke and laser Richard Da Costa, we need a national,playa wide promoter, back up group as in singers and dancers(Summer?) . DaCosta, I can't speak for the group or whoever is "In Charge", but I'd say it's as official as you want it to be.

If we can get a pretty good idea of which day or evening Leila might perform, we probably can get it listed in the Who What Where. We usually have our potluck on Wednesday; that I don't think we need to publish playa wide but to our dear proffesional chefs, I'll probably do a bit of geologiking after till dark that night. I haven't gotten much committment from other science types yet but it's early. I wouldn't ask Leila to commit too much, Thursday evening might be nice. Hopefully somebody will do a demonstration on how not to polish aluminum, and maybe we'll get brave to try Bacon for an hour some morning.
Busy Bee Burner virgins are to go out and explore every night or day and come back and give a bee dance on hwere hwat hwo during dinner.
