Hi Taz, The people posing for the picture in the road at 3:30 and F was Tuna Guys. If you look closely you can see what we were posing as, and you can see 11:11 just down the road also...

They're okay, but they drown out the sound of the 24/7 techno

Someone told me that it was half meter resolution?

I am pissed
Are the Airstreameri & Geologi really several hundred feet off camera in the sat photo?

No. I saw you guys clearly. Look for the "cock & balls" in the street right in front of your camp on F, and the big 11:11 in front of the bar next to your camp.

Cheers,
Rich the Burnt

Click the magnifier to zoom in and then use the sliders on the sides to navigate around BRC. There is a group of us in a circle in the open area of the Airstreameri camp.

For those of you who went and are missing it already, here are some of my pictures:
Burning_Man_2011

Here are a few featuring our Airstreaming campmates:
Airstreameri

Unfortunately, my point and shoot camera fell off Roboshaw on Sunday. It had my casual pictures from the potluck and from several rides out on Roboshaw. I will post more pictures if the camera and/or memory card comes back to me.

I'm hoping that all of our campmates find their way to AirForums and this thread. It was a memorable adventure.

Thanks for the link to the pic Taz, I got in the pic while on shift at the DMV. I don't know who was holding down the camp most of the time during the week, I hoped at least most of them knew were were a "placed" theme camp with an accepted application with listed activities. We had several no shows but three wild card 'streamers come in off the street, one which found us using a Burning Man app on the smart phone. She even read to us our camp activities off the app. How cool is that!
We'll definately be looking into the wifi thingy for next year, if there is a group interested in getting placed next year.

And for those who left before the Temple burn, I took these for Bart who was on a ranger shift in the city and missed it:

Here's a panorama taken Thursday morning from the tower behind us on G. Click here for a link to a larger version.

To zoom in on the picture in the link, click on the magnifying glass icon above the picture, then zoom in with the + sign above the picture. There's a lot of detail there.

My backpack has been located! It's currently in Seattle, but will hopefully be making its way home to me soon. That means I'll have more pics of the Airstreamers to put up.

Have any of our Airstreameri & Geologists Camp drop in residents joined AirForums yet? I know it's only been a week since we got back and most of us are still shaking dust out of our ears, but I am looking forward to continuing the acquaintances we started in the desert.
