There is already an Airstream on playa. I figured mine would be the first, but I'm not.. Although I did send the first tweet and facebook post a few days ago from the playa.

Is there a webcam feed from the playa so we can all sit in the dust free ac and quietly mourn the fact we are not there this year?

I will give up my Airstream

With luck and a quarter million bucks...I would give my Airstream away....stop by Monterrey next week, buy this and hit the Playa.

Which one, Mr I.have.3.Airstreams? That's like a guy with 3 wives saying he'd give up one--what a sacrifice!

Changing camp

I have been offered a chance to arrive early and help build a camp with friends.

Love the Airstreams but I can't pass up a few more days watching the city take shape.

Thanks for all the effort put in, I will drop by for some social time during the week.

Lamont

It might take that much to get a ticket now, they've sold out to the 6% increase over last year, the max BLM will allow.

More planning: Zep is planning on more or less the same landing pattern we had as last year, with a community gathering opening in the center for the Flamingo Croquet, Chautauqua and Repartee; we'll should let the chef cook types land with their kitchen doors toward the center of the ring so the souffle don't fall before it gets to the table.
Probably be formal attire breakfast most mornings in the calm sunrise, evening dress suppers during gorgeous whiteouts before sunset... errrrrrNOT! remember this is all on BM Zulu time plus 12, formal attire definition may vary by participant, weather will be a constant SunRainSnowCalmWhiteoutFrostHot, and will vary according to street. We're on Funeral at 3:00 according to BlackJack. Now back to your regular station BMIR - Burning Man Radio - 94.5 FM on the playa

Thanks for the link to the radio station. I feel like I am home even though stuck in NC. Get me another gin and tonic!

My bad probably on copying the list. Somebody remind me to bring the barbeque-firepit thingy, I was working near it today cutting up some downed dead cottonwood; maybe I'll put a little cottonwood in to bring-not that many folks sit around a campfire in our camp, there's lots bigger things to go see out there. Can't wait to see what the Flaming Lotus Girls are welding up for us, here's something from '09 I believe: MAH00233.MP4 - YouTube

Is anyone from Oregon going this year?
I have an AS tire and wheel that I'm trying to get to another forum member. If I bring it from Tulsa to BM, could you take it from BM on to Oregon and meet up with the other member somehow?

Let me know
Jitney

I'm going to Bend, but then continuing north to Prosser, WA (wine spree), then Yakima and Port Townsend. Your wheel is probably going west of that route?
