I've got lots of chairs and assorted decor items.
Although I'll have to check my stash for geological themed carnival games.

A Sound system for soothing geological music. (yeah right )
Pack animals
Mine shafts
Pike axes
Sluice boxes
Dynamite
10 stamp mill

We're in luck - my iPad has all the above and more. Even a testing Canary app.

I can bring an easy up
canopy.

I need help with my rock costume tho. Rock star? Peeble beach? Dune creature? a diamond?

Welcome NevadaAu!

We've got another Nevada geologist signed up, wow what a deal it can be to sign on the Airforums. Gary is getting the playa dust sample I took at 4th of July JuPlaya analyised for gold, platinum, siver, diamonds, (not) but I'm sure it will be interesting to see the results.

And welcome Zea! another one of our busy Nevada geologists. She used a nickname I set up for geologists that can't seem to get past the Airforums registration dealy. Any other geo's trying to sign up, let me know, or use your favorite mapping compass not the Silva!

Must be hot and forgetfull, Hey Mr Coffman! I think the airport has rebuilt the port of entry, but probably the control tower is still the same.

I have a couple fabric pannels that look like grass and some other fabric burgandy with a boutique design that can be used to decorate lecture area - I know grass-playa don't equate but just think creative. By the end of the week it will look like playa dust anyway! Any one else have something to "enhance" the lecture area? BamCamper it sounds like you have a few things.
Who has a sound system?? This was the one thing our camp lacked in 08.
Perry- how many lectures are you scheduled for?
VERY excited to see everyone-the cound down is on!-Summer

Burning to get there?

Burnstream Court has lost one rig in route to BRC and several other close calls plus tire problems so I'm posting this for some of you less experienced Airstreamers!

Keep the rubber-side-down,
Monte

We've run into problems with larger camps where showers had to stop on Friday because of water accumulation in the evap pond... the solution to this was pumping the water w/ a small 12v bilge pump over a greenhouse cloth covering... we went from evaporating a few gallons/day to easily evaporating 50 gallons in an afternoon....

We'll bring a pump & evap structure...

- Bart

For those coming from the east, I encourage you to take US 50 instead of the Interstate. See travelog here. (Yay, the Sovereign is in place in Reno and just waiting for occupants!)

I have a small two speaker PA/sound system with a couple of decent mics, if you like.
