Like Bam said, we have Airstreams and we don't get smelly.
Guess times have changed since my burning days I always nearly always somewhat naked in front of the Airstream and pretty much always smelly... even with an Airstream do you survive Burning Man without playa in places you'd rather not mention?

They sure do Julianne! I had the pleasure of helping apply body paint to my favorite burner so she could participate in style. Sorry, no pics. But yours is FANTASTIC!
Thanks,
Rich

The CT bike ride takes more than 20 minutes to go past now. That's a lot of bikes! Incredible art work! There's also a critical d ride but I think we all managed to miss that. Some sights you just don't want to see

We just got back to Anchorage this afternoon. Thank you to all the forum folks for making us feel so welcome at our first Burning Man. BM was the most wonderful experience - all we expected and more. The withdrawal has been difficult. I hope we get to do it again in 2010.

The Man burns in 345 days.

Back to Earth

Back to the home planet also. Made side trips to Vegas and the Walnut Valley Bluegrass Festival in Kansas. (Haven't seen that much tye dye since the 60's!)

Great time in the desert. Less in the way of white outs but just as much loose powder. Will be cleaning it out of the 'stream for years.

If you are an adventurous soul you should give it a try. But, be fore warned there were a few who thought they were ready that left early. Either just not their cup of tea or they didn't care for the alkaline dust in the cup!

Hope to be able to hit the playa again next year. Note, it would be a better place with Michael, Richard, Summer and Eric.

Pic's

Here is a pic from the camp that kidnapped me.

This is the theme camp that I worked with.
"The Prod, Pump and Rest"

A monster sound system, vertical dance pole, oak bar with light show. The camp server 1,000's of vodka punch drinks and 1,000's of vodka shooters. I had the pleasure and honor of being a guest DJ.

Yea, that was sort of fun - but if you subtract out the drinks we served ourselves, what would the number be?

Michael,

We saw you the first day we arrived, the Friday before the gates opened, and waved. We were the couple with the Airstream. Amazingly, we couldn't remember just where we saw you-somewhere close to the Esplanade.

We trust you had a great time, and perhaps learned a thing or two on the vertical dance pole.

We'll look forward to seeing you on the Playa in August and hopefully remembering where you are camped so that we can visit during the week.

Happy and safe journeys,

Michael - It is a good thing they didn't have a horizontal dance pole - you would have been in big trouble! Then again, I 'm not the one that should be talking dance poles!
So, you vanished before even entering camp?

See you all in 8 months!
