Rivet Branson 'Spring is in the AirForums' rally 2009

It's that time once again to prepare for the Spring Branson rally. We have had an excellent turnout for our last three Branson rallies, and this one should be no different. Instead of a BBQ cook-off, we will hold our potluck dinner on Saturday evening this time. This alleviates the worry of preparing a dish for those arriving later on Friday, or not making it in until Saturday. Trailer tours for the willing will be noon to three on Saturday like we have always done. This is also a great rally for those thinking about buying an Airstream, but want to get more information before hand.

Like last Fall, we will be holding the rally at the Branson Stagecoach RV Park. The park has all pull through sites, free wi-fi, a nice indoor gathering area with kitchen, shower houses, and the rate for full hook-ups with cable was unbeatable.

I will contact the campground this week to finalize plans. Once I do so, the sign-up link will be added. This is a great rally for first time attendees of a rally. There is usually a good mixture of new and vintage units, and friends of forum members not yet blessed by the silver bug are welcome to attend.

We are also blessed to have local forum members that live in Branson who have invited us all out for a free show in the past. The show is amazing and is a great time (I went back to Branson for business since the rally and saw the show again!).

Here's hoping we have another great time.

Steve

Easter Sunday may eliminate a lot of potential attendees.

Glad to see another rally. That is Good Friday/Easter weekend.

Steve are you not going to Texas in February?

Oy Veh!

In my haste I completely forgot about the Easter holiday. I will need to rethink the dates since my own attendance will likely not occur over Easter. Anyone have opens for the first weekend?

The weekend after East I have committed for the KY rally. I may have availablity the last weekend of the month.

Post your thoughts.

CJ, there are not enough sots for me to attend the Texas rally as they have run out of spots!

Gene...all but you buddy since your shop can't lose the only salesman it has right now.

Alright y'all!

We'll open the first rally of the season the first weekend of April. The last weekend wasn't good for me or several others wanting to attend. With holding the rally at the Stagecoach we have the indoor kitchen and eating area.

Make your plans now.

I'll bring the Fiesta Crock Pot for a prize!

On Saturday I left a message at the Stagecoach regarding the rally. They are currently closed for the season, but their message machine states they return calls within a week. Once I get it set up we will be set to make our reservations.

I am also busy putting together a rally in May to be held near Rend Lake. More on that next month.

Kani, what's the story with the sink? You were supposed to locate one for me!!!!!!

Hey Bill and Marsha,

The crock pot story is a unique and funny story going back to the rally held last August at Meremac State Park. There was a Mexican Fiesta crock pot that was given away as a rally prize. The winners (Who shall be anonymous) brought it to the October rally in Branson to re gift it :P. Nobody would accept it as a prize and it has become a sort of rally comedy (The prize nobody wants). It will keep making appearances until someone leaves with it, and never brings it back!.

Very gracious of you though to want to fill it with $$$ for the Salvation Army, but I think Sandy mean for us to donate the actual Crock

Hey Dillion,

Know how to solve that problem? Get a second Airstream (One to camp in and one to fix).
