I am thinking about making some name tags like alumatube made for the last spring if I can find the time to get all the supplies together.

I was going to use the rally image on the forums, but there is not alot of room to put our forum names on it. If anyone can make a simple image for the badges, then I will use it for the badges.

New Granddaughter Pre-Empts AS in Branson

Well, it came right down to the wire----which would arrive first, the Branson Rally or Sadie Beth--Jim and Kristin's new daughter.

The Private RN told me I could take in the rally in Branson but she would stay here with the new mom and help her take care of the family. Two rough and tumble boys ages 11 and 10 and 2 year old Sophie--she's going through the "terrible twos".

In psychology class this is called an approach - approach conflict --two choices with equally good outcomes.

I called the campground and cancelled my reservation.

A link to a photo of sadie is here : busplunge: Sophie's Sister, Sadie

ps--I boiled two dozen eggs last night and thought I had fumigated the house pretty good. When the Private RN got home she asked if I'd been boiling eggs! Next time I will use TWO cans of glade!

Jim,

Congrats on the new addition to the ever growing Lee clan. Maybe one time you can make it with the grandkids. I am super bummed though to lose three attendees in the last few days, but these things happen.

Happycampers,

Don't know what there is to do in Forsyth, but plenty to do in branson....you may want to head there out of shear boredom in Forsyth!!!

See some of you tomorrow and others Friday.

About them eggs....

I'll turn 'em into Easter eggs. Luckily, Trey and Austin are not finiky egg eaters like this guy: http://ozarksoffbeat.blogspot.com/2007/12/im-tired-of-eating-eggs.html

Hi Annie ... we won't be at the Branson spring rally this time. However, when we're in Branson, we really like Cantina Laredo at Branson's Landing -- especially for Sunday brunch. Cantina Laredo

Branson's Landing has several restaurants with different price ranges ... and it's fun to walk the landing and enjoy the scenery -- if it's not raining.

Eureka Springs, AR Eureka Springs, The Extraordinary Escape is also an easy day trip from Stagecoach. I think it is about an hour and a half drive one way. It's a neat arts community with lots of fun shops and wonderful scenery.

Great Food

Well folks.. we tried what the locals recommended..."Danna's"... bar-bque and burger... has to be one of the best meals we have had eating out this whole winter... we have travelled from Fla, across to Texas and up here... highly recommend it...

Was just informed Amy gets out of work around 12:30 or 1300 today. We should be in Branson before dinner.

So who all is arriving today along with Tinloaf, Wolverine, and myself?

I was also wondering the number of kids attending since I was planning an activity like egg dying or egg hunting.

Hi to you all. My better part and I just got back from AS of AK and my wife did not like what she heard and told me NO to the camping this weekend. The New/Old AS is in need of some major repare and was left at AS of AK. WE will let you know what the damage $$$>$$$ is later.
