Turkey sounds great Annie.

Even though there isn't an official dinner on Friday night, I am encouraging anyone interested to have a happy hour mixer and their dinner in the group meeting room. I will provide spirits if anyone is interested in that. I think we are going to BBQ a slew of food tomorrow, and bring some of it to the rally. Time is open, but I'm thinking 5:30 so we can make the show at 8 PM.

In other news, I got my shell off and the chassis pulled out earlier today. Two days or part time work was all it took. I just saved $2200 by doing it myself. I also found new 5052 .032 sheets for the belly pan 4'x10' for $62.00!!!!

We'll be arriving before lunch on Friday. Only two weeks away!!!!!!!

I'll update the list again later on if a few more folks add some stuff. I may be substituting the pulled pork with brisket, or maybe a little of both for Friday evening. Looks like we're going to "HAM" a good time

Well we're a week away from the rally, and the start to many of our camping seasons. I have a few attendance prizes to give away on Saturday night, and maybe someone will actually keep them this time . We are going to try and make it to the park on Thursday evening so we can sleep in on Friday (Till 7 AM). Don't forget that we will have a happy hour/mixer on Friday before the legends show.

Safe travels everyone.

Steve

Kani,

We're glad to see you'll be arriving on Thursday night. This means Amy and I don't need to stop for dinner since you'll be making a feast...right?

You guys just thought you could party without me!!!!!!!!!!!! Things loosened up a little on the schedule, so made my reservations this evening. Probably won't get there in time for the Legend's trip, but look forward to seeing everyone when you get back or Saturday morning. Will bring pasta salad for the pot luck on Saturday.

Hey Dennis,

I guess the Denim jacket party can definitely begin now that you are officially on board. Any word on if your counterpart will be attending? Can't imagine you being there and Carl not.

Being a week out, I took a peek at the weather. After all...it's been really nice here lately (From the 60's to almost 80). Last night, weather.com listed every day of the rally as thunderstorms. It will likely change again, but right now we have...

Steve,
I called a left a message for 2-aspirins last night after we made our reservations. He currently is out of town. Don't worry about the weather. I'm confident the forcast will change but, if it doesn't, IT DOESN'T MATTER. Fun at these rally's always negates any weather issues. Besides, forcast was for snow & ice when I went to Searcy a couple of week ago. My traveling buddies all backed out, but it turned out to be a really nice weekend. Now, where is that denim jacket (like I don't really know).

Dennis,

I agree that the forecast will likely change, but that storm out west coming in looks menacing. Last Spring rally it rained the Thursday that we arrived and most of the day on Friday, but eventually lightened up. At least this time we have an indoors location to get together in, and won't need to worry about Bill and Becky having their huge kerosene heater.

Off to smoke a nicely marbles flat cut brisket.

Steve
