I made reservations for site 32; there a lot of camaraderie here so I have a-lot of catching up to do. I’ll bring some Missouri Wine; I bet you’ll be an easy group to crack! We just purchased a nice 78 Argosy so this will be a new outing in it.
I 'm looking forward to meeting everyone. JB

I think that's a old song:
The lyrics are:
Show me the way to go home
I'm tired and I want to go to bed
I had a little drink about an hour ago
And it got right to my head
Where ever I may roam
On land or sea or foam
You will always hear me singing this song
Show me the way to go home

Gene,
Did you know that only California has more wineries than the SHOW-ME state? St. James is a popular wine as is Mount Pleasant.
Last fall we had a potluck on Friday night, and a cook-off on Saturday night. Everyone want to keep that the same this time?
Disclaimer: All gatherings, potlucks, events, etc are strictly voluntary, and by no means required to take part in the rally. We may talk bad about you behind your back, but what kinda friends wouldn't lol lol

The schedule sounds great to me (potluck Friday and tours & cook-off Saturday)! The plans for us (maybe just me - Brad is in the middle of some job changes, more later) will be to go to the Log Home Expo Friday and hang around the campground all day Saturday.
Okay here's an idea for the cook-off. How about best chicken dish? Chicken any way you want to cook it. Fried, smoked, steamed, fricasseed, baked, grilled, shredded, boiled, casseroled, chilied, etc. Stuff that "tastes like chicken" will be disqualified! Bona-fide chicken only.
We ought to make a Branson Rally cookbook, with all of the recipes from the various cook-offs over a period of time. We should request a recipe for each dish at each cookoff to be given to someone who would like to put one together.
Whadda ya think???
Susan

We had a wonderful holiday season. Had all the family over for a barbeque the day after Thanksgiving. Barbequed pork steaks. Christmas was nice. We hosted Christmas dinner for everyone.
Regina and I went out the Monday before Xmas to do some shopping, she sprained her ankle and has been off work since then. The kids and nieces and nephews all stepped up to the plate and fixed dinner. It was nice.
Found an abandoned septic tank in our backyard, well actually, I didn't find it, the cement mixer found it. Pictures here: busplunge: I Didn't Know There Was An Old Septic Tank In The Backyard
Took the kids and their friends out in the bus New Year's Eve to watch the fireworks at a park downtown. I was the designated driver, Regina stayed at home and watched the new granddaughter. We had a wonderful time.

See you in Branson!

Wow, this ones only 320 miles from us, might be able to swing this one. Got some figguring to do. If we come we'll be bringing three kids as well, ages 8,5,2, boy, boy, girl. I would like to do the Springstream in GA too but it's just to far for a short weekend. Sounds like this will be a lot of fun, are kids welcome?

Hello Mr Mossy,
More kids can only be an improvement from the rally last year. Our son Collin only had 1-2 other kids, and they were mostly doing their other family stuff. We had several trailers from Nashville last year.
Spots 29, 30, and 31 are relatively close to where we are to keep the kids close if you make it.
