I am just glad for Steve, Amy, and Colin...after all they have been through...

And you just never know about these leaks...it took us awhile but it looks like we finally got them all and no one is happier than the Medic family!

Thought I would take the time to post these two pics.

Smoked turkey before carving.

BBQ Trophy For Spring 2008

We have flash flooding right now, so I figure I will head to the stream in an hour or so to give it another interior moisture check. Then I gotta finish Alumatube's smoker (Just got the final pieces), and start going through my check lists. I haven't decided whether to leave tomorrow night or first thing Wednesday morning. Was really hoping to pick up a few straglers the last few days before the rally, but nobody has signed up yet. We'll see what happens.

The name tags looks great Suz.

Suz,

If you don't have the room to make them that long we could do this.

And this is exactly why I am having Gene leak test my rig BEFORE getting underway. You'll hear a lot a grumbling from site 22 if the skylight starts going DRIP DRIP DRIP on my head on my second night in the new trailer.

BTW, is there anything that anyone wants from the great state of Colorado before I head out? Beer? Snow?

Thanks for the nametag design help, Steve! Your way looks much better than the way I was trying to do it. (You had told me earlier and I forgot).

I do have plenty of room at the bottom for the forums name, since the logo was almost square and the tag is more rectangular.

Thanks!

Susan

thanks
It is two lane, I think it goes through Aurora, then turn left and goes through Crane.

Mileage wise it is probably shorter, but when you are at Mount Vernon exit is just a short jump up to the Springfield by pass to 65 south and it is all four lane driving.

DON'T go all the way to 65 south on I-44. That will take you clear around the north side of Springfield. Take the south bypass, the James River Expressway. I think it is the first exit east of "T" . This will take you around the south side of Springfield and get you to 65 South. It is all four lane.

So I go out to the trailer for my daily morning inspection, and to turn the fridge on to get cold. My trailer looks like it is so far off level that it will tip over if given the slightest push. I frantically run around to the opposite side to find two slashed tires on the streetside.

It makes sense for this to happen to us after everything else. Now I have to see if I can get these repaired tonight after we get home from work, or we may not get to leave until late on Wednesday if they need to be replaced (Hope I can find Marathon C rated tires here in town).

I thought about just cancelling our reservation, but what good would that do. I need to get away from here no mater how much it is supposed to rain or how cold it may be overnight. All I can say is APRIL FOOLS!!!!

For those that are leaving early. James and I will see ya all Friday afternoon. We will leave Oklahoma early Friday morning. Wish our trailer was ready, but it will be for the Branson October. Hope James pickup some good advise on getting our bathroom back in order. You all have a safe trip and see ya Friday (we are staying at the lodge).
