Mega Thanks to Artstream
Artstream is DA MAN.
While placing an order last night, Artstream offered to support the rally with a prize for either the BBQ contest or door prizes (If we have enough).
Time's running short for us. Two weeks till I pick up the Ambassador, and then 10 days to Branson. Not alot of time when we still need to fabricate a table for our dinette.
Karma to him.

We have changed course on our potluck item. We are bringing a spicy smoked turkey.
Looks like LOTS of smoked food for Friday when the BBQ competition is on Saturday.

Os,
I think showing your cards at this point would give info to other competitors. Best to keep it a secret!!!

Hey, Air Commander, I will probably enter the contest as well, and will definitely bring something for the potluck. My potluck M.O. is to wait until the last few days and see what is still needed and bring that, so don't put me down for anything specific yet.
Woo-HOO! Can't wait! Everyone bring your disco outfits!

HI all! Sounds like everyone is getting excited about the Rally and with good cause. I'm sure it will be a blast.
As you may or my not know we had to bow out of the rally because of hip replacment surgery for my husband Jack. We are just sick about missing the rally. . .really:-) I will try to sneek away for a while and come meet everyone on Sat. Eve.
Another BIG ISSUE with us is our 2 year old Choc Lab Sam. (Short for Manu Samoa) We are moving to a smaller house with one floor and are unable to take Sam with us not to mention Jack will be unable to care for him for several months so he needs a good home. He is such a good boy and comes from a very good blood line. If anyone out there would like to have him or knows someone that would give him a good home. (Fenced yard of farm setting) PLEASE keep us in mind.
Thank you for your time. . .See you soon

Kani,
You may want to post some more info like if he is neutered, how much he weighs, gets along with other animals, etc. Also post a pic if you have one. We will get him a home for ya.

To anyone interested, there is timber frame and log home expo going on in Branson the weekend of the rally. Tickets are $15.00 and are good for Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. There are some of us who plan to go Friday if anyone else is interested in joining us.

Here's a link to the show schedule. It says to buy tickets at the door. There will also be lots of vendors and great info if you are interested in log homes!
