Pam and I just got back from being winter Texans. So it is spring already right? NOT !! winterized the airstream today .Miss those 75-80 degree days. We have our reservations for spot 29.Leaving here Thursday, looking forward to another great time.
Juel how did you get those dents out?
ive got a couple on the back side and one pretty good one on the front right above the wbcci number's
see you in april
Go to "Pound Out Dents in Segment Protectors" for how we got the dents out. I can't give you a link because I'm computer challanged and don't know how that's done. 2air has done it for you above.
Did any one receive a confirmation from the park concerning your reservation? I have the number, but didn't actually get anything in writing? Just wondering.
juel,
I have not received written confirmation, but seems like I did receive a confirmation number over the phone when I made the reservation. I will check on that and let you know.
i didnt get a confermation number they just took my reservation payment and told me what spot i would be in.
next to the pool will be great, i hope they have a high dive
juel i had some popping the last time i went to the car was on a cold day and used a hot presure washer but my large dent up front i will probably have to massage out aswell.
but i was woundering if you have had any sealing problems around the rivits that were close to the dents?
osolow...from what we could see up there above that cabinet there hasn't been any water coming in the trailer. The only leak we can find is the plastic on the front vent broke. We covered it with a plastic bag for now. It's a metal frame with just the center piece being plastic. Bob thinks he can cut a piece of plexiglass to insert into that frame. I've never seen a vent like the three on this trailer. Here's a picture of the Sovereing in the ice storm. It's also snowed several times since the dents and no water yet. Now Bob feels he can take a corner of the rear end cap loose and push out the dent that came with this trailer from the PO backing into a tree limb. It's good to have him home for a while.
