We'll be watching for the final notice of the confirmed date. As far as finding a trailer, I will bet that Airhog will find one for you. What are you looking for in case we hear of one?
Hey Alumatube...did you hear the tower fall in Redfield???

Gene,
Susan is off to Kentucky to see how many houses she can be in a two day period .
So that what it was all about. I was driving down 365 on my way home from Little Rock yesterday and there was a whole lot of traffic just north of Redfield along with three different news crews.
I haven't checked to see what happened yet, guess I'll have to do that!

Kay aka Carnegie1935 made the best-ever Banana Pudding at the Christmas Rally at Blanco, Texas. I got her recipe and will make it at Springtime in Branson

We're planning to attend the "Spring is in the Air" rally at Compton Ridge. This will be our first rally. We don't have kids or pets ...
We did get site #24. We asked for a site that gave us some good room to navigate as we back our 29 ft 1974 Ambassador into it. So far we've only had pull through sites when we've camped.
A food list for the pot luck would be helpful. We had planned to bring some baked beans from a great recipe by Mike Mills' at the 17th Street Bar and Grill in Murphysboro and Marion, IL. I see that someone else is already bringing a popular baked bean dish so we may need to rethink what we bring.
We'd appreciate any tips (culture? protocol?) or suggestions that would be helpful about Compton Ridge and AS rallies.
We have made the drive from central and Southern Illinois to the Springfield, MO area (and on to Tulsa and Oklahoma City) many times through the years only we weren't towing a trailer.
maccamper is wrapping up several "had to do" renovations on our "Emma." He also totally gutted her bathroom so he is working hard to get the bathroom functional again before the rally. It's nice to know that there is a good bathhouse available -- knowing that some folks consider their AS's camping worthy even if they just consider them nice big aluminum tents.
Nancy Maccamper, Glad you'll be there, I have been in this area alot but this will be the first Forums rally In Missouri. We'll will be on you side in space 28 and don't have any kids so I guess were in "Adult Section"? Oh I forgot to mention my 4 legged daughter, Sapphire she is 14, we cant move now so we'll keep it down!
.
Thanks for the posting, John. We're looking forward to meeting you and Sapphire.
Sounds like there's going to be some serious good food at this rally.
I see some folks are bringing Missouri wine. In addition to our potluck contribution, maccamper and I will bring some wine from the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail in Southern Illinois. maccamper and I will have to do some research to recommend the best wine to pair with a delicious banana pudding.
