I have a vegan daughter and son-in-law so I am used to cooking vegan...no problem for me. She ran a vegan restaurant in Joplin for 8 years until a couple of months ago so I have some pretty good recipes.

So post your photos, don't think we even took a picture of the camp site. But then again we spent most of the time inside the trailer watching it rain. But the leaves on the trees there were beautiful, even in the misty rain.

OK 1st of all... these are not the cushions for our dinette. They are from our patio furniture but do serve a purpose until the cushions are finished...

Great pics, Kani and Judy. Keep 'em coming! Our camera is not feeling well so we couldn't take any this year.

We had a wonderful time!
Friendly people, tasty food, and fun! The tour is the highlight, I think, I love getting ideas for our renovation! Everyone has such interesting trailers ... original vintage, restorations and new, even a few SOBs! Who knew just how much room you can get when you have a trailer with a push out. You could go for days without running into any other people in there!
Thanks to all for making this weekend a weekend to remember! We've got wonderful memories (and some great prizes.)

Glad to see everyone is getting home with no issues. We're sitting around a fire with bluewahine, ann and alvie, mcair, and schreibers. Happy birthday to dennis and mike as well.
Keep those pics coming.

To satisfy our curiosity...
If anyone traveled 44 west to get to the rally you probably saw this vintage trailer sitting on the north side of the highway near Rolla. We passed it on the way down and Mike just had to stop on the way back to check it out. (Not an easy find once off the highway.) Very cool from the outside, windows and skin in great condition until you get to the roof which is entirely tarred and painted silver. All window glass is there except for the missing window. The interior was originally all wood and has extensive water damage. There are no rivits, all screws, so the frame is probably wood and just as damaged as the inside. It did have a ID tag that read STAR. I have more photos if anyone is interested. It is for sale for a cool $1000. Good Luck on that!

Made the twice baked sweet potatoes late Saturday afternoon and tackled the
veggie chili mid evening, just to be in the spirit with everyone ... not to bad if I do say so myself! Combatmedic will get a sample of both when I return her plasticware later when I come over to work on the FC.

Good Monday Morning! It started raining off and on about midnight then around three it didn't stop. There are still a few of A/S left, but most are leaving out today. James and I will leave out tomorrow.
We have had another great time at the Fall Branson Rally.
Also, had a Birthday cake for Dennis and Mike last night along with more Chili, hot dogs and salads. HAPPY BIRTHDAY GUYS!
Thanks to everyone who pitched in and brought door prizes and most of all the vendors who also gave some great prizes. There were enough prizes that every family got something.
Looking forward to the Spring Rally in April 2010. Sounds like it will be at the same camp grounds.

Heading out in a bit. Another great rally thanks to Steve & Amy with a particular thank you to Colin for teaching me how to play football again. Next stop should be the Pumpkin Chunkin in NM next weekend. All in all a very enjoyable 4 days despite the cloudburst on Thu. Looking forward to doing it again next year. Hope everyone has a safe trip home.

We're leaving this morning also. Had a wonderful time, great fun with a lot of great people. We've made so many new friends thru the rallies, and always look forward to getting together again. Thanks to Steve and Amy for all your work getting this together, and we plan to see you all in the spring. Goodbye to everyone, if we don't see you in person this morning, and everyone have a safe trip home. Jim and Sandy

Hey all,
We got home around 2:00 PM and just finished unloading. We had a pretty good time, but really could have done without the extreme rains we had to deal with. Food was excellent as usual, and the company was great. We even had a few SOBs that were great sports, and fun to be around (I love Joan's chicken wings). Thanks to all who donated prizes to be passed out, and to our vendors for the prizes (Vintage Trailer Supply, Silver Joe's, Bill Thomas Campers, and Airstream). Also thanks to Tina for the placards and name tages since Maccamper couldn't do it like they usually do.
Trying to get everything set so I can head into work at 6 PM tonight, and have another scheduled event at 730 AM after this shift is over.
Upon arriving home, the first thing I did was run to the flying cloud to see how much water from the rain was in it. The plastic got ripped from the high winds, and let some water in. The old heater vent and stove vent also let some moisture in. I have to get this finished and buttoned up for winter, or get it stored indoors.
Steve

Looks like you ended up inside for your gatherings rather than under the pavillion. Did they provide you that for free?
