Alright, I have the Branson Fall Forums Rally page updated with a photo gallery. I borrowed one of Judy's photos just to get it started, so right now it has only one photo.

It's up to you guys to visit the site, follow the link to the photo page and hit the upload button on the top. Another cool feature is that you can download the entire gallery with the click of one button.

So Judy - Upload away.

The photos are on TinLoaf website. Very nice website. Were you at the rally? I met so many nice people my head is spinning as I can't put names and trailers to the faces. Maybe next time I will do better. Had a great time Thanks everyone for making me feel at home.

I was at the summer rally and planned to be at the fall rally but I unexpectedly had to work Thursday and Friday and decided to cancel. I'll get down to Branson eventually.

Thanks for the compliments on the website. Now everyone else needs to get on the site and upload their pictures too.

Tinloaf, thanks for the photo web site.
Thanks to all the photos were great, mine are still in the camera.
Steve, I think that campground was very nice, thanks for doing all the leg work.

James is working on our heater, it works but not correctly. As it is too old the factory said they don't make parts for that unit any more. Looks like we will have to get a new furnace/heater before the Texas-Feb 2009 Rally.

WOW! Sounds like you did the right thing taking the scenic route and taking your time getting home. ....... "Not only is the destination to be enjoyed but the journey as well!"

As some of you know I am on the executive staff of the Sheriff's Office and my "late return" to my jurisdiction was a topic of discussion amongst the Chief Judge, District Attorney, and Sheriff with myself in the middle. Despite my brilliant argument justifying my little jaunt through southwest Missouri and all of Oklahoma, I was found in "contempt of vacation" and sentenced to infinite duty in the courthouse so one of our two judges could go to Wyoming, the DA could go to who knows where, and the Sheriff could go up to Mena Ar to ride horses. Despite my punishment I kind of enjoyed being the courthouse czar for a few days. But now I need another vacation so I think we will take that proposed trip to New Mexico and Arizona after all. Payback is gonna be tough though, I'll probably be officially grounded for a couple of months after that............JD

Hey Steve, James and I worked this past weekend on fixing our spots where our A/S was bubbling, during the pressure test. As far as the tail lights go, James said there is no way to seal the inside, because of the can that holds the light bulb. He still has all the running light to do. Hope when we test again in Feb (Texas Rally) we will have less bubbles.

James ...Did you take any close up pictures of the Vulkem application? I would like to see them and how you cleaned up the mess if any.
I'm on my way to clean the walls with TSP in preparation of some possible painting, while the weather stills holds.

Kani/Jack,
I put 1" painters tape parallel to the seam and or trim. Left a small gap between the tape and seam, put on the Vulkem. I pressed it into the seam with my finger. Took lacquer thinner and paper towels and cleaned the trim where it smeared. After the vulkem set for a little while, I pealed off the blue painters tape. Made the prettiest straight line I have ever seen. You are going to have it on every finger no matter how careful you are. CJ

CJ,

We should be set for doing the test in February. I am hoping to get confirmations of people getting the test done. I am looking at over $600 to make the trip, and need to cover my expenses. If anything, I will do it next time we meet if I can't make it, but I plan to be there. I would also suggest looking at your door gasket on the left side. There was alot of air coming from that area.

On a side note, this is how I do vulkem application.

1. Place a piece of blue painter tape directly over the seam where you are sealing.
2. Using a razonr knife, cut along the seam through the tape (Gentle now)
3. Squeeze your vulkem or parbond over the slit in the tape.
4. Use a gloved finger and smear the vulkem into the seam.
5. Pull off tape for a perfect line.

CJ's works just as good for non seam areas.

Steve

Steve, the door gasket was put on new at the same time we did the windows. We checked it yesterday and it appears to be in good shape. If you can't make it to Texas in Feb, we will catch up with you at another rally.
