We'd be up for a Caravan leaving from Seattle. It's kinda early to say, but we usually get on the road around noon?
We just got off the road from a road trip through Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, S. Utah, Nevada, California, Oregon and WA. We traveled with Katie
s parents' 31' Sovereign. It turned a lot of heads and was a lot of fun.
Be sure to get fresh batteries for your FRS radios.
We'd be up to caravaning from the South. We are in Yreka. Anyone interested?
Don
Hi guys! We'd love to caravan again, but I don't know if our paths will connect, or when & where. We'll be going up the coast and stopping over somewhere near Yachats. Mark is going to try and surf along the way.
So that puts us leaving Eureka on Thursday and over nighting about 4-5 hours down the road. Arriving at BB on Fri.

Hi Ryan, If the time and day your leaving works out for us a caravan sounds like fun. Let me know.

Noon sounds about right for us as well. Let's connect closer to the rally date.

Sounding better all the time for the caravan from Washington. We were hopeing to leave Kelso by about noon,as it is still over 2 hours from here to BB,but we will forgo the earlier stat for the chance to caravan with all of you going by here on your way. Also we would offer overnite parking, with water electric and graywater disposal,[in house for blackwater/toilet use],for thursday nite if you would like to break up the drive down to BB.We are right off the freeway.
And there are several places to meet here. But the best way is to call by cell when you are about 15 minutes out and we can meet at the freeway ramp in Kalama. We can firm up plans as we get closer.
And on a nother matter,it appears that we are the only ones providing the firewood for the main campfire so far.And that's just fine, since we have plenty, but if anybody passing by here would have any room available to carry some of it down that would help.I will load as much as I can possibly get in after all other essential gear is in,[gear for a wife and 2 grandaughters for 4 days],and that may be enough, but better to have wood left over at the end than to run out during the event. Let's party! ,Butch
PS.We will try to get Darol to caravan with us also from Ridgfield, but we'll all need to wear our welding goggles if he does-----he has just finished the final polish on his Caravaner. How 'bout it Darol??, Butch
Thanks to Sequoiacoast for reminding me about this event. I just booked site G36 for Friday and Saturday. It should be a blast. Our first ever Airstream event!
We're getting excited for this caravan. I hope we can get some times / meeting locations to make it easy. It seems the caravan will make it's way down I-5 starting somehere near Bellingham?? Maybe we could utilize rest areas as meeting points? That seems to be the easiest place to make a connection without getting too far from the freeway??
G33 for us. I hope I did this right. I reserved a site for Friday and Saturday. We will travel down from the Tacoma area. This is a first for us but we are very good followers.
John
