You can never have too much lasagne

Well, you can never have too much, it looks like we will have to pull our entry.

We smelled a gas leak in our stove this morning so...we may take the whole thing offline, camp without an oven, and pull our lasagne smackdown contest entry. That leaves the field wide open to you

Hi Everyone! We can't wait to get there and meet everyone. We spent the night in Arlington and slept in til nearly 8am!! The reason? We left our hormonal boy puppy at Happy Camp...ahhhh...a week away from dog land.

We're driving along the Columbia Gorge as I write, near The Dalles. ETA 5PM...yippppeee!! Frankie of Brian and Frankie

We just got home. This was a great rally again, as usual! Thanks to our wonderful Wagonmistress Janet and her man-servant Gary. Thanks also to the 20!!! people who made lasagnas, which was just enough to feed the ravenous pack of campers who showed up. So much great stuff to talk about, from 3D slide shows, to Johnny Cash around the fire, it was a blast from start to end.

Gosh 2Air, you weren't supposed to tell them about the naked twister contest, that was supposed to be a surprise

Gary, Janet and everyone else who worked to make this a hit have set themselves a record of excellence. Thanks for a good time.

Now i can also claim to make an award winning lasagna. Mom will be proud.

We had an awesome first rally. Many thanks to the organizers!!
Although we got in later than we planned Friday night and missed the first social event, we still managed to meet a lot of great, interesting people and their Airstreams.
We look forward to meeting the rest of you next year!

Hey John, was that YOUR cast iron pot feast? Yum Yum! So much fun, so many people to meet... I don't think I even made it around to all the trailers.

I even made it in prior to 10pm!

Thanks to Janet and Gary (!!!)... who I think are now on their way home.

Wow! Thank you Janet and Gary and all who worked so hard to make a rainy rally so much fun!

I only visited 3 trailers! Between the rain and cooking for the pot luck I spent most of the time in my own. I am still learning the ins and outs with my oven- I couldn't enter my lasagna because it wasn't hot enough in time. So we ate it last night- sorry, I know you all needed MORE lasagna!

We drove the 8 hours home in pouring rain- no letting up until we were in Eureka. We did some slight hydroplaning and had one car lose control and head straight for us... luckily the guy got control at the last minute and missed us!

There were so many awesome trailers all decked out with different lights on the awnings- it was truly beautiful! I wish I had seen the insides of many- but next time, maybe without so much rain!
I will see if any of my pictures came out and post them later.

So very fun

Wow. What an amazing first rally for us. So many fun people, great conversation and Airstream stories.

But, we will have to wait for next year for 2air's fungi lasagne to get the glory it deserves...alas, to be disqualified on a technicality

Many many thanks to Janet-the-rockstar. The rally got so big that the logistics alone would have been scary for someone who was less amazing than she.

Too bad about the big rain on the way home yesterday! I am so glad that you guys made it safely sequoiacoast! I hope everyone else arrived home happy and dry.
