Our plans are to leave Yreka Sunday, we will go up to Grants Pass, Oregon and stop and see our daughter & husband's progress on a new home they are having built. Then, we will head towards the coast likely on Oregon Hwy 199 and wind up in Crescent City. Not sure if this will all get done Sunday... depends on how long we "hang out" in Grants Pass. But by Monday we should be on Hwy 101 heading north. We have no real agenda on places to stop, etc. Thought we would be spontaneous... we do have reservations for Beverly Beach on Thursday... maybe get there earlier, who knows! Do you have a route planned or scheduled stops that are your favorites? I will pm you with my cell number and email [laptop will travel] hopefully we can make contact! This could be fun!

Hi Glenn and Teresa,
We're going to be coming down to BB on Wed and could stop in Seaside to pickup a screen. I'll give you a call tomorrow.

Steve,

We are close to 400 miles...one way this is an "average" distance for us to attend a rally... not too much close to home! Besides, this is the bestest group!

Basher Prizes!

Howdy Bashers,

I've picked up some great prizes from our AS dealer, Sutton RV in Eugene for the rally. He graciously donated $200 worth of prizes for our bash (also contributed last year as well)! We'll be awarding prizes for the smackdown lasagna contest and nametag contest (prizes worth $50) and there will be a drawing during dinner for the remainder of prizes (winners must be present to accept).

So get cooking your lasagna and drawing up those winning nametags!

Loren, Super, about picking up the screen. You can pick it up at my shop next to White's at 2950 Hwy 101 N. Monday or Tues from 1-5 if that would work, otherwise I'll get my father-in- law to get it to you. Tell Carolyn I'm working on Clam chowder for Friday night and might need her help in the taste department, that potato soup was so good at area 33. Teresa

Smile screen

Hi Teresa and all,we have a silver screen if Woogies can't make the stop.I would be glad to throw it in. Also,about the caravaning---we will leave Kelso friday morning promptly between 8:am and noon.In otherwords, we can adjust our departure to rendezvous with whomever is passing thru.Could meet at the Ridgefield rest stop just south of here,or even the Kalama river road exit a couple miles away.I think it's exit 32. See ya' soon,Butch and Beth [PS,I think our little girls have both been eliminated from making the Bash ,by their parents----bummer.}

I nominate you for the "Furthest Distance Traveled to the Rally" award! May you have snow-free passes and safe travels!

oh i'm pretty clear of the snow...so far.

don't declare a distance winner yet,

someone east of the river may surprise us with a visit.

for first timers, i thought you might like to see a photo of a typical campsite...

this is "h" loop and one of the early arrivals.....

"G" loop is a little nicer...

cheers

Nice rig, 2AIR! I just returned from a week in/around Glacier Park. Made the mistake of driving through Browning, MT. The photo of your "campsite" is pure luxury and taste compared to the yards and side streets of Browing. Sorry to any Montanans out there, but you really do need to clean up a bit, although the east side drive along Flathead Lake does make up for it. Here's a challenge for all Bashers - wear clothes appropriate to the year of your trailer for Saturday evening - no white tuxes allowed, however. Darol

2air',

I'm guessing this is one of your "shameless lies" hehehehe. Unless you're taking a real roundabout way to the beach that is.

See you soon, Frankie
