Oh great - I can see the headlines now...

Newport, OR. Aluminum addicted boomer's found in twisted pile at A local state park.

Eye witnesses report that bacon wielding campers were seen engaging in unusual Sunday morning ritual involving contortions, heavy breathing and disco music at a nearby state park. Disaster struck when one member of the group tried to perch on a rock in a yoga-esque pose whilst gobbling bacon and holding reserve bacon in each hand. It was reported that the camper slipped on fat dripping from the bacon and fell causing a catastrophic chain reaction. 23 reported to the local infirmary with bruises, pulled muscles and disorientation. One particularly befuddled member reportedly demanded that each member of the group be checked for worms and rabies before being released from the local Medical facility.

Coffee, wood, bread, camera and bacon donations noted

Hi,

Under Snacks - put me down for Chips and Salsa for Sat. Night.

Also, I will bring a pie for dessert. (Anyone have a preference?)

oh yeah!

So pls put us down for bread for french toast + Juice (sunday); salad and dinner rolls for Sat night - do we still need more bacon? I can bring some if you think so.

I'll bring some wood too -

Will we be having the second annual pumpkin carving contest?

Is Jim happy?..... maybe we can get Zocar to sponsor the Sunday Breakfast? I'll bring jumper cables for anyone's heart if they need it.

Mona would be happy to lead us in the morning aerobics... SERIOUSLY! You know I'll be out there.

I like any kind of pie - I think I'll make one too!
Janet - I'm rolling on the ground!

Befuddled and Merlot intoxicated woman Found!

A befuddled and intoxicated woman was found heaped in the corner of
F restroom @ Beverly Beach State Park. When confronted as to why she was barricaded in the handicap stall with a box of Merlot and 10 slices of bacon wrapped in aluminum foil she was quoted as saying. " I was cold, the floors were warm and I didn't want to kick box!" Local authorities are still trying to locate famliy to claim the woman but no one has stepped forward.

Well this makes good sense to me.... is the F loop bathhouse fixed? I remember it fondly.

the Handicapped bath had room for 2 and was nice and warm. Too bad the rangers aren't more understanding.... I was hoping for my own plaque on the wall - ya know "this bath approved by Janet"

Could you have a little fridge installed at the F baths to keep the cheese and pate' cool? Tiny is OK - the merlot is best at room temp...

Really curious about what sort of free toy would be included in a box of bacon strip bandages!

Veggies....

we could grill some asparigus (sp) for breakfast... or eggplant - or anything!

Mamma always told me to eat my greenstuff!

Honestly - if you want to be first on the grill - just give me what you want to grill in the morning and it'll be done.
