I'll bring the big BBQ again (maybe the small one too as the group is continuing to grow).
Oh - I'll also get those extra tarps from my friend who has several hundred square feet of them - remember how well they worked last year? We stored them under your trailer, and the weekend was dry!

Friday - an appetizer (Spinach dip with bread/crackers)
Saturday - cornbread salad (sounds funny but is really good) and a chocolate/peanut butter dessert.
Sunday - we can bring some bacon and fruit salad.

This hurts me to say this but...we are going to have to cancel on the Beverly Beach Rally. Ugh. We've been so excited about it all summer. The upside is that I got cast as one the leads in Urinetown (at our local music theatre) and will be playing Little Sally. This is an amazing opportunity for me since I have not been able to be in a show for a year or so due to my master's program.
So opening weekend for the show is the same weekend as the rally. I kept thinking that the show wasn't starting until November, but I was wrong.
So maybe we can have a get together in Leavenworth on the Icicle in Late Sept/early Oct. There is always some sort of festival going on like Autumn Leaf or Octoberfest and the weather will be perfect for hiking. Mmmmm brats, saurkraut, and beer.

When where you thinking of organizing a rally in September. I have time off towards the end of the month in September. Start a thread and see if ya can brew some interest. I have never heard of the "Icicle" ?

I totally missed this post. Sorry you won't be able to make it! We chose end of October because our theater company is doing it's last play in mid-october, gives us one weekend to clean up and catch up, and then there's the rally. Last year we didn't give ourselves that extra weekend after the play, and so we ended up leaving BB early Saturday morning to get home in time for the cast party (because I figure the cast party is the best part of the play - you do all the work, you ought to have a little fun). Anyway, break a leg, and we'll catch you at the next rally!
Put us down for corn muffins and some sort of dessert for Sat. in addition to the pig fat for Sun.
My parents have reserved a Yurt camping spot for that weekend. If it's OK, I'll check with them and see if they want to commune with a bunch of Aluminum owners.
We'll bring a big coffee pot for Sunday morning......... to keep everyone's caffeine level on track. Also will bring some Bakery bread and garlic butter for Saturday dinner!BTW, everyone who partakes in bacon consumption must also take Mona's kickboxing class offered in the mornings!
