What a Great Weekend!!!
WOW - Hope everyone had a great time.
Got the BBQ home about 1 pm, then returned for the A/S.
BTW, some people just couldn't let go...Janet and Gary, 2air, Jim & Cheryl, and (I think) NorCal, and Chris were staying for "one more night."
Glad our coastal weather worked out pretty well the entire time (of course, trailers need to be rinsed off once in a while, and Sunday morning seemed like an appropriate time .

Awesome!
Too bad the time is so short! We got back around 10:30 last night (after stopping in Tillamook for some yummy squeeky cheese, cheddar burgers, and icecream!). Traffic wasn't bad up the coast (up to Astoria, over to Longview, and then home via I5). Hate the oncoming glare of lights on 101 though!
Gary and Janet - good thing you stayed, the pass was frozen over (but you probably go home via another way?).
More to be posted, but what great fun it was to finally meet 2air, Butch and Beth, JD, Great Pumpkin and so many more!
Bacon - I stopped counting! I couldn't believe we cooked so much! I think SERIOUSLY!! - it was over 30 pounds worth! AND, just when I thought I was done, more flew off the grill (COOK MORE!!).
I can't wait for next time! Is there a three day w/e coming up for spring we could do?

This was a fantastic rally, I wish I could have spared an extra day as well! There were so many new people there, I hope I had a chance to at least say Hi to everybody. I think I hit everyone! Plus had time to catch up with folks we already knew. It was great fun, but very busy.
I hope someone posts pictures of the pumpkins we had for the carving contest. I know there were lots of cameras around!
This rally should be remembered for the huge crowd, rowdy raccoons, flamingos, and BACON!!!!

Wow!
That was such a fun weekend. Thank you to Janet and Gary for putting on a fantastic rally! Wish we could have stayed longer (next year!). We kept laughing all the way home about Great Pumpkin chasing the raccoons in revenge for them eating his eggs and bacon. Hopefully I'll get some pictures posted later today. Great to see everyone and meet new people.

WOW and MORE WOW
Thank you all for making our first Airstream rally so memorable. It was wonderful to meet you and know there were also some first-timers. This indicates our Rallys will keep growing.
Thank you for the ideas you shared with me during this rally. My To-Do list just got longer.
Everyone take care. Let's get together for another one.
Karen
PS - J & G Thanks for putting this together. You were great HOSTS!

What better time than now to thank Janet and Gary for being such gracious hosts. Absolutely the best time Franci and I have had in a long time. Great people, fantastic food and weather. We look forward to being involved in future events as they happen.

What a great rally! It was our first and, because of the people involved, we hoped it would be a true, Northwest potlatch. It was. It was delightful. We met such great folks and look forward to seeing you all again soon.
Huge props to Janet and Gary for making it seem like it all "just kind of happened." It takes a lot of brainpower, talent and generosity to create that illusion. Much more challenging than running a rally like a spreadsheet.
Freedom, individuality and The Way of the Airstream. Amen.

As with everyone else Thank you Janet and Gary for putting this together. We had a wonderful time and met so many great people. The view-master film is being developed so keep your fingers crossed. Thanks to everyone for putting up with the Yorkies, they slept all the way home, and darn we forgot to stop to get squeeky cheese at Tillamook! Hey Dave, have you started to take out the front sofa?

It was a great time at Beverly Beach!!!, Special Thanks to Janet and Gary, they did a fanastic job on the rally. Me and Murphy really enjoy our first rally and seeing everyone. I am already looking forward to BBBIV. I have all sorts of new ideas for improvements for the Safari, heat being on the top of the list. The food was great and jam session and camp fires (excluding the raccoons) were fun. Thanks for a great weeekend!
Rick
PS: Jim, it was great to see the old Vet again, look forward to seeing you at the next Forum rally, I'll keep you posted on the renovations....

Ye Haw
We made it home safe and sound, I hope everyone else did the same
Home Sweet Home, a great weekend and great times. However, I sure do miss all of our new friends and the old ones too. Remember that old saying
"It takes aluminum to make a village". Lets' do it again.
Just a word or two to Thank all who came, and all who helped make the Beverly Beach Bash III the Pacific Northwest's Shining Star of rallies.
The statistics: Darol and I counted 31 trailers and my count was 72 people for dinner. 15 gallons of stew for the Saturday evening meal with many delicious side dishes. The breakfast was marvelous, Marc said about 30lbs of bacon and many side dishes. It also required 5 dozen eggs, one gallon of Half and Half and 13 loaves of Texas toast for Janet's special French toast.
On the way home Janet was working on BBB IV Saturday evening meal, sounds like Salmon. I'm thinking maybe a little butter, white wine and dill. OK a lot of butter.
It's going to be real tough to top number III but the planning is underway.
Anyone that wants to help on number IV PM Janet and we'll get it going.

Kudos and Karma to Janet & Gary.
We had a wonderful time visiting with everyone we met at Silver Falls, and enjoyed meeting more airstream in folks at the BBIII. It is obvious that you guys put alot of time and effort into this rally. Thanks just doesn't seem to cover it. We can't wait till next year.
The weather was perfect (other than the brief rain ) It was absolutely beautiful weather for the coast, expecially for this time of the year. We arrived home this evening, back to reality - low 30's and SNOW on the ground!
The Overlander will be getting winterized soon, going to an indoor storage down at our county fairgrounds. $1.75 per foot (26 x 1.75 = $45.50)to store it for Nov. thru March. Yes that's total price, NOT per month!
.................................................. .................................................. ..
Another story for another post - had an interesting run-in with the Barney Fife rent-a-cop at the Fred Meyers in The Dalles on the way home.

Didn't those pesky racoons get our jack-o-lanterns last year? I guess they knew to expect us. Sounds like a wonderful weekend. Sorry we missed it. I guess we'll have to wait until the snow melts to see you in the spring.

Druppy for the hot fire.... and all those who fed it!
JordanDVM for the bill collecting and gift giving....

Everyone for the great time and wonderful potluck!
If I missed anyone... it is because I am tired from the ride home and am near brain dead...

Ready to rumble....
Well folks,
The tote races were a great idea....but folks at the rally seemed to be laden down with food, good drink, and comfy chairs.... however, the flamingos had quite a time checking out the totes! Here are some looking at Gary's that had racing stripes!
