Beachstream 2011, Topsail, Sept 2 - 5

Chief passed the Beachstream "organizer" torch to me this year . Last year the rally was purposely planned without any events. The idea was to relax and enjoy the long weekend. We are going to continue that tradition, meaning no pot luck, raffle, open house, etc. We will plan as we go based on the desires of the group; eat when we are hungry, shop when the mood strikes and nap when the girls are gone .

Although the group was small last year, we did have a good time, as always. If you are interested, reserve early as this is the Labor Day weekend and sites are going fast. We will try to stay in the back section.

I'll get something up in the rally section tonight but wanted to get this out as some folks have been asking about the dates.

Safe travels

Sounds reasonable to me. The tradition is no schedule, nothing else is eliminated.

Beachstream is now listed in the rally section. Not a professional job like Chief, but it will work.

I'm going to have to give this some serious consideration... had so much fun last weekend. Course, I may have to leave my rear-end at home.

Come on up, you won't regret it. Why not have your rear-end examined by a professional, then decide if you can bring it or not? Just check the phone book for Aluminologist

There have to be people reading this, and other posts about your rear-end, wondering just what went on at the CanOpener. Let 'em wonder.

I just choked on my Hot Buttered Rum. Being sipped from a new, hand crafted Airstream mug - thanks to Janice!

Thankfully, my rear-end is now resting, comfortably in a warm place. Hummmmmm

We didn't know that the mugs would have a curing effect on rear-end separation. Glad that Jan could help!!
Who's going to the Florida State Rally in Sarasota in February, did you know you do not have to be a WBCCI member to go, check it out.

Florida State Rally in "Sareysotie"? Oh, boy, that's one of our hometowns. Where is it held? I hope, I hope we can make that one! Maybe we can just park in the vacant lot by our old house and no one will notice? Just kiddin'.

And another chance to go to Topsail? In hurricane season? Kewl. An adventure! I hate winter. I hated missing Canopener. Trying to head south within a couple of weeks.

It's a good thing your rear-end is in a warm place because in north Florida we went down to 24 degrees last night and you would have frozen your rear-end off.

We are going to have to cancel our reservation and switch it to the Canopener. We have a daughter who is getting married that weekend.
We hate to miss but things happen.
I'm sure everybody will have fun.
