As fun as this group is, we most likely will be "on remote assignment" during this rally. Perhaps harvesting pumpkins or something like that. 
Our absence does not equal an increase to your share of the beverages, just your enjoyment.

Easier said than done. The fireman Mr. Rivet is not able to get his 24 hour shift off for that holiday weekend. Guess someone has to be a hero and work to save the world that day. We will miss everyone. But of course we will see you all again come the 2011 Can Opener. Dibs on 142 for the next Can Opener. We tried . . .

Really sorry to hear that......we were counting on Mr. Rivet to provide the CPR expertise for the beach party!

We missed the Canopener, so it's great to have a second chance for a rally at Topsail Hill.
We just booked site 141 for 4 nights.

We'll be in site 168 on the corner. We bailed on the Can Opener this year so we are looking forward to this rally.

Beachstream Update
Just bringing this thread back to the surface with a reminder.......
out of the 62 reservable sites in the 100 loop, only 17 remain for the Beachsteam dates (Labor Day Weekend). If anyone has any thoughts that they "might" attend, it would be a good idea to snag a site before they are gone.....the weather is starting to improve and folks are going to start making Summer plans.....it only costs $10 to cancel.
We currently have around 14 Airstreams signed up for Beachstream.....and, there are some fun people among that group. It is going to be a blast!

Glad to see this punched up again. We are really looking forward to it. I must say that during the heat of the summer, Jack must sometimes take a back seat to other adult beverages. Rest assured there are many substitutes
