We are still coming...no weather wimps here. We camped for years with our horses in some appalling conditions. The upside to bad weather camping is the real high you get when you get in the truck and drive down the road and escape from the bugs, cold, heat, rain, snow... whatever. By the time you get home it was not so bad and you feel better for enduring.

PS We camped out along the Mississippi last weekend despite 80% rain chance and cold. It was cold but no rain.

The forecast has improved a bit. Now it looks like a beautiful day tomorrow, then a good morning on Friday with spotty showers in the afternoon. Saturday's chance of showers is down to only 40%. Looking good.

sadly i wont be able to bring out the classic, gotta work all weekend and pops isnt in good enough shape to tow it that far, maybe the next time, everyone enjoy!

I hope your forecaster is correct. Cold is fine, I can do without the rain.

We are parked. Truck is on it's way to Ford in Effingham. At least we got here this time before it died. Thanks to Dan the awesome tow truck driver we are not spending the night at the dump station.

I should have hitched up and come out yesterday. I got hit with hail here at home. I'm sure there's damage with hail that size, but I can't tell until daylight. At least no vents were broken.

They're saying on the news this morning that the hail was twice that size in Highland just north of me and in Aviston just east of me.

We had not a drop here, and the weather forecasts are all over the place, depending on what you look at and listen to.

Still leaving the kidlings home.
