I notice on craigslist the Trout Lake Grocery is advertising fresh picked mountain huckleberries - we might have to buy some and whip up a cobbler for one of our desserts YUM!

Well our "getting the trailer ready" weekend was a bit side railed as our son in Portland had an emergency appendectomy. Went up and got him settled in (stock the frig) and he says he is already feeling himself....ahhh to be young and have an 8 pack.......now with 3 small holes!

We will get her de-winterized this week and be heading up thursday eve...save me an artichoke!
..........getting tired of replanting the tomato's and basil... Bring my rain boots and umbrella for bocce...rubber gloves?

Hi all, We're bringing some 'extra' parts that have been accumulating as we've bought and sold trailers over the years. These items are for sale or trade so if it's maybe something you need.......
Here's the list:

Therm'X Caravan Mark IIA Catalitic heater.

Thetford Aqua Magic model GL/HL
Toilet. May have a fixable problem. Otherwise for parts.

1979 26' Tradewind front seat covers - custom.
for the dinette model (2 side benches and table).

We'll bring some canopies and a good attitude. Trout Lake in the rain beats staying home in the rain hands down. The weather forecast seems to improve as the weekend goes along...

Looks like I am going to be a little later than I hoped. I have a prescription that runs out today. It was setup for auto refill but failed. I now have to wait for it to get filled today.

Friday Arrival

Whew! Took some doing, but I wrapped a project and Jane managed to get off work at noon on Friday, so we'll be joining the almost moving conga line trying to exit PDX on Friday afternoon. Should arrive glazed and dusty around dinner time.

We're bringing spud salad for Friday night and will whip up arugula, feta and tomato salad Saturday night. Also packing baguettes, cheese and wine.

Now, in concert with our aluminum lovin' compadres across the PNW, I'll be shoveling out the truck and getting the trailer ready for its Spring outing today.

Pull that barge, lift that bale, check those tires, flush those lines...

Greetings from area 33. 7 trailers managed to make it on Thursday and dogs out number people. The cows have returned this year as well. Atfer some showers mid afternoon on thursday the rain dried up and had a great evening. While cloudy today, the weather seems to be improving!

Pack for chilly nights!

We're hitting the road any minute, shouldn't take more than 3 hours. Can't wait to get there and join the fun.

Life and curve balls

I wish I could be there. However, someone helped themselves to my stuff and my truck. I have a good part of it back now but my house is totally trashed. Have fun up there.

But Chris..... Michelle brought 40 lbs of bacon and you can clean and organize anytime. The sun is peeking out and the mountain in beautiful and well, frankly, you have an obligation to eat your share of the bacon. Arteries in area 33 are counting on you to do your part.

We've had deer wandering through the campground this weekend and I guess they're still at lower elevations (snow still on mountains). They don't do bacon.

The wayward ones

Howdy Janet and the group. I wonder who is going to sit in the campfire smoke when I'm not there. Claudia and I are thinking of all our great Airstream friends. Maybe someone will put up a kite for us.
