2aireshuman, Howdy, if you can still find the 6 pages of 6 point type earlly Greek and/or Roman word document that came folded up in a 1 1/2"x3/4'x1/4" size at the bottom of the package. Then look on page 3 about half the way down the page you will find a explanation and warning related to this condition. The "fairy dust" may during early spring develope a exagerated reaction to the alteration of the position of the moon. This alteration may cause a sudden rise in the hormone commonly referred to as testosterine(sp), I'm only an artist, to continue. This may cause a sudden rise in the palpations of the heart and certain lightheadness. Also a lack of general common sense may be a side affect in certain persons who still have a age ranging from 14 to 50. Other individuals may experience an lightheadedness. If any of these conditions develope take two asperin and call your doctor imediately. Some may find a short time relief by placing the glowing brown powdery substance in their right front pocket. If this happens don't call your doctor.

We are in, and yes we drink wine. I'm sure it is going to be cold and windy so we are bringing heaters.

Janet,

Would you put us down as tentative but probable. I will be able to provide confirmation on Tuesday of next week.

Donna has arranged for the Friday and Monday off. I had an appointment on Tuesday to confirm some test dates that were set up for May 20th. I'll not be able to travel for a two week period after so after seeing this thread today I requested that they move me to the June 2nd date. They will confirm back by Tuesday if the change can be done and she seemed reasonably comfortable that it could.

If I understand correctly it's about a six to seven hour drive from Blaine, WA (we live 15 minutes north) so we'll head down early Friday morning. We will head home Monday morning.

How rugged is the road in? Would my fairly low '57 be okay or should we use the truck?

We are looking forward to meeting all you folks. We are Forums Rally virgins.

Thanks for setting this up Janet and Gary.

barry...

assuming the bridge isn't washed out and large logs scattered on the road again this year...

the road way is paved to their property, then groomed gravel (200 yards) and old air-strip (200 yards) to the camping area.

the camping is in a grass field mowed b4 we arrive.

there is a low shoulder into the field from the road, but barely noticeable.

IF you opt to come with the pontiac (which we'd ALL wanna see) and after inspecting you think it is too low...

any one of us with trucks could hookup n tow your trailer, the last 100 ft to a cozy spot...

that is if the sink holes, broken glass, abandon waste barrels and dead animal carcasses aren't scattered around again

cheers

Barry, I'm planning to drive my Pontiac. I've been there twice and managed to avoid all the pitfalls 2AIR seems to have found. You have to remember he's from Kansas where FLAT is the norm. Hope you can make it - it's a fun time! Darol

Darol,

Great to know you are going to be there again! Are you going to stay and camp or visit for the day? Just nosey! No matter, it will be good to see you.

Barry, can't wait to see you! Bring the Pontiac... The gravel is flat and firm... we went biking on it with road bikes.

The animal control will take care of the carcasses! Just look out for the UFO's at night.

We promise to arrive prior to 11:00 pm this time! Although, I do miss the landing party's lights!

We missed South Beach and are so looking to be in the true Great NorthWest.
We have once again this year began to see strange flying things in our backyard this year. Has anyone else had early indications? I have just aquired a goverment tape that was just released by mistake. It seems to be some kind of report on the airstrip at Trout Lake. Joe, has Max been barking at any unforseen things?

Thanks for the heads up on the potential for losing the wagon in a very large gopher hole. I'll put a flag on the CB antenna so I'll be able to find it. Better bring a shovel though. This sounds much like many of the rod run/camping events we attend for location so I will make a very strong recommendation to the chauffeur (Donna hates when I call there that but she fills the bill on that part) that we use it. It's actually her preferred TV as well.

We are really looking forward to this. I guess we are coming regardless of what I hear from the vet on Tuesday as I heard Donna on the phone last night telling a friend that we are going and can't make another function that weekend. Yip skips.

So, we shall see you there. Bring tin foil? I'm a rookie so I must have missed something. Anything else we need to know to bring? Anything we need to leave at home - wouldn't want to have something there that attracts aliens, or would we?

Darol, I am really looking forward to seeing your Pontiac. From the few pictures I've seen of it I am very jealous.

This is going to be a most excellent time. Meet a swack of the folks I get to chat with finally. For Donna this will be all new as she doesn't (thankfully) read my posts.
