Bump

I know there's more NW'ers out there that want to get an early start on the camping season.......and what better way than with ASforum members!
So sign up now (see rally calendar) and put it on your schedule of things to do! We want you to attend.....it'll be fun!

Zoom Zoom....

well, I'm back! I think I got my hearing back by now, those F1 cars are LOUD! Can't figure out how to put the WD hitch on one though....

OK, Kathleen - I can't remember how hwy 2 is out of Seattle. Is it easier to pull up the 2 from Seattle, or cross over from I90 to Wenatchee. I think 2 is easier / faster?
Marc

Go Speedracer! Glad you enjoyed the races.
Highway 2 is only one pass rather than going over two passes (Snoqualmie/Blewitt). Plus if you are coming from the in-laws it is sort of a straight shot.

Sparky!

Boris isn't ready to leave the driveway yet - he still needs a dinette, a bathroom, a closet, a fridge, a mattress.... Sparky's gettin' antsy to go camping, though!

We drove up the mountain today to take Cady for a romp. The flowers are just starting to come up, by the rally things will be blooming. If you click on the pics you get the full effect.

Yes that is the Columbia River. This picture looks south across Wenatchee and E. Wenatchee. If you notice on the West side of the river there is a small bay. That is where the park and campground are at the confluence of the Wenatchee River and the Columbia.

Kathleen.....
Sounds like a great spread! We'll bring the salsa (mild & medium hot) & chips. And we'll bring some the fixin's for "killer" margaritas if someone has a mixer (ours died).

If I remember Marc does bacon really well and likes to get up early Sunday mornings (see pic) .......and I'll do toast and homemade blackberry jam and let everyone do their eggs the way they like em. So I'll bring toast, butter, eggs/eggbeaters and homemade jam!

I'm almost committed to buying a kayak to bring along........it'll give folks a good laugh watching me launch into the Columbia River! ........just need to make sure someone is downriver to pick me up ! Since this is a new venture for me, I'm renting one locally to try it out (Pongo Duralite 120 by Wilderness Systems) before I buy.

OK - we can bring the stove, pans and griddle, potatoes for breakfast and maybe some breakfast ham.

Are the margaritas for breakfast??

We'll take care of the rice, cheese, and olives for the taco bar.

What else are we needing for breakfast?
