We're all packed and ready to roll. We're planning on leaving at the crack of dawn, so we should get to Lincoln St. Park mid afternoon. Try and save some good sites.

Well we had another great time together here in the northwest. We ate, sang, played, ate, lounged, ate. Here are a few pictures, I'm sure there will be more before the day is out. We have the various tin foil hat contestants. Mel with her door prize, 65glbtrotter continued his winning streak with his new flyswatter gun, a panorama of the trailers, etc.

And the Winner is......

Chris won the tin foil hat contest with his rebel hat and aluminum accessories. Those spikes will definately scare away the evil rays.

Thanks all for a great time!

Kathleen and Jim, thank you so much for planning this rally. We had so much fun - especially with all the aluminum foil hats (in the spirit of Earth Day, we have recycled ours )

Thanks to Janet and Gary for hosting the cooking/eating/fire area.

Loved seeing people we had met before, and making new friends. What a wonderful way to start off our camping season!

Here are a couple more pics...

Awesome pics Mel. I especially like the one of the 3 Vintage trailers all lined up. Did anyone get a picture of Lee with his Aluminum Phez? I noticed he was missing in our group photo.

Oops - I didn't get a picture of him either. I don't know where he wandered off to when the group shot was taken!

Oh yeah, and a big THANK YOU to Karyn from Airstream of Spokane for the cool gifts!!

I have proof of the fez...

It was a great get together. Thanks again Kathleen for all the planning and everyone else for the great company and yummy food. Fun to see and catch up with everyone we've met before and make some more new friends.

I have some good pictures of most of the hats and trailers. I'm post them soon. We're a bit road burned after the 400 mile drive.

Great Time!

I can't believe you guys are home and posting already!

Three cheers for our Wagon Mistress - Kathleen! We had a great time! Here's some photos of our hats - including the Phez, and Mona as Wagner, and Kathleen ("it's a flamingo") with her hat (: > ). I'll post more after I recover and eat! (Going through food withdrawl - that camping food is great!)

A Great Weekend !

Thanks Jim and Kathleen for putting this together. I had a great time. Thanks also to Spokane Airstream for the foil hat contest prizes. It was great to see you all again plus a couple new faces ! Lincoln Rock park is a very nice place to have a rally. It is a good size park and has full hookups. Jim and I canoed on Saturday which was fun, I hadn't done that in a couple years. I should have tried out the kayak too, maybe next time. I flew my kite Sat. afternoon and then lounged around for a bit. I enjoyed everyones company and I am grateful to have met such a great group of people. You can view my pictures here -> Great NW Getaway

Oh wow, that looks like a nice park, and typical E WA weather! I'm so sorry I missed out on all the fun, but I nearly laughed myself to tears just looking at the pictures! Well, I'll catch you guys at the next one!
