OK, with all that carnivorous stuff on the menu, the vegetarian here has to balance it out a bit. There should be some good fresh strawberries available somewhere in the area.
Yumm Yummm! This all sounds Delicious to ME!

Carry on....just getting hungry, I must go to bed....

we are indebted to Ron for his work and direction in fixing my rusty end cap , and showing me., 1. How to remove the banana wrap....2. How to drop part of the belly pan. 3. How to weld ( never did that before) 4. How to hand toss a pizza and make the best pie I have had since leaving New York City....5. How to use a lathe ( my son learned this skill)...
6. How to do all this while keeping up with 7 kids, a campfire, and more.

The Bunkhouse is looking great!!

Alan,

The campfire thing is easy...just keep it inside the ring of rocks!

The welding pic reveals poor judgement on my part by not wearing long sleaves. (I paid for that one!)

Phil,

I ran the laminate flooring crossways as per Alan's advice (he had heard that it had separated in some coaches running the long ways). My biggest lesson learned? Put it down while cabinets are out! I used my zip saw (angle grinder with blade) to cut off 3/8" from bottom of partitions and slid the flooring underneath for the "factory" look. It wasn't easy after the fact, believe me!

Craig,

It's not difficult to work with but takes a lot longer in confined spaces than I thought it would.

And remember....great pizza is easy when you use quality ingredients!

Installing the flooring width wise also give another dimension to the look of the interior, just in my view of course. I wanted to do an angle in the kitchen area but I am not that skilled.
As for having the cabinets out, sure wish I did, but it was not totally necessary. We did find a small floor rot spot under th refrigerator area when we pilled the belly pan down. Seems the water filler neck is just disconnected fromt the hose enough to cause the leak we had.

Just returned from delivering my son Jordan to the airport for his flight to Lackland AFB. BMT for 6 weeks than on to Tech school in California at Port Hueneme for 14 weeks. Strange seeing the empty room upstairs.....

Alan, do you feel that widthwise helps provide more of the illusion that it's wider than it really is? As I consider (in the distant future) putting flooring in, I wondered whether widthwise helps draw eyes to the sides, rather than down the length. I assume this trailer will be at SpringStream. I am hoping that we get a chance to look at some of the results of your labors, as well as others.

There has been no discussion of raffles for this rally other than our offer to donate a pair of twin Nick and Nora sheets. Does that mean that noone else wants a raffle? Maybe a volunteer will step up and coordinate/run this.

that is exactly what i think...the grain adds to the look inside. When I had cork square tiles of course direction meant nothing.
A raffle is a good idea...I will see what I have to donate or can come up with.

I will donate a "campfire basket" for the raffle. I would also be happy to help with the distribution.

Key Lime Pies (2) - Tom AKA Minni'e Mate

They were popular at the Can Opener Rally, so I think I will bring them again. Plus, they are super easy.

We are arranging to use the Pavillion on Saturday. The fee for this is small, so we may ask for a dollar or two donation to cover the cost, depending on how many people are coming.

Martin has kindly consented to conduct the barbecue class there in the early afternoon or late morn, and I will let him tell us what else will be going on there beginning bright and early. Sounds great and will make this an even more memorable event for all.

We will also have acess to indoor space if the weather does not cooperate and makes the pavillion unusable.

Howdy David. Electronic message caps? Can you program the message?
"I'm with dummy",
"My other trailer is SOB",
"I'd rather be driving a AS than a golfball",
"BBQ sauce on my beard? Good!",
"If I throw a stick will you fetch it and leave me alone?",
"I'd rather wear Nick and Nora",
"Flamingo for State Bird!",
"Silver for State Color",
"Twinkies make me want to go camping",
"Campfires are cool",
"Can you play Simon and Garfunkel? I want to hear Sounds of Silence",
"Pizza for State Food",
"Save Wally",
"Phil and/or Sue",
"'61 Tradewind",
"Feed me",
"I need a hug",
"Saving $, so I bought Vintage. Ha!!!",
"SpringStream 2007",

Just thoughts... I suspect all too long for a cap though.

Yes, the caps are programable. I think the capacity is 132 characters. Single line that moves across the screen. Most of your cool logos will work!

David, thanks for the info...I'm gonna try to win a cap!

My cool logos? Only cool ones? So the ones I listed won't work?

...but, I only live in a can a couple weekends a year...

I guess someone has (or can get) the raffle two-part tickets for the drawings.

Alan, regarding donations for the use of the Pavilion, count me in for whatever we need as a split-up cost.

Man I saw a belt buckle like that at the Styxx concert last weekend. It was way cool.

We are gonna have a small PA for our Sat nite jam, which means electric guitar and more importantly VOCALS!! Yeah.
I hope I can learn "livin in aluminum" by then.

Thought you might like this view from GoogleEarth of GA Country Fair Campground - this'll be us! Maybe we can request a flyover when we are there - although there would probably be too much glare from the aluminuminumnimum on the satellitititite.

Kelly, I'll try to remember to check my glasses for missing lens before coming over for coffee. I wouldn't want you to hurt youself laughing again. I still blame the spirits.
