Love to See You There!

Cost for the rally is FREE! Some people are buying shirts via L I Pets - I think there will be some extras available though. Some people are going "whole hog" and contributing to the pig that empresley is roasting. Other than that, bring your rig and join us. We'd love to see your there. Pot luck dinner on Saturday night costs as little or much as you want to put into cooking a dish to share with everyone.

Lakeside spots in area 2 are $30/night. Includes full hook-ups and wi-fi (cable TV might also be included)

1 Month to Go! (and I'm getting worried)

With just one month to go till Springstream we don't have a trailer! We are having some service work done at Jackson Center and there is a delay. The technicians determined that our tire wear problems stem from a broken axle. The new axle is on order but will take a few weeks to arrive. ARRGH! Yes, I know the axle factory is just down the street from Airsteam but still these things take time (or so I'm told).

Everything should work out fine (I keep telling myself this in hopes that it will come true).

This situation has me sleepless in Decatur. My dreams go from eating a whole pig to being eaten by a pig... from towing an Airstream to being run over by an Airstream... from paddling on a serene lake Chatuge to being toppled over by huge waves of water...

Surely everything will work out.

Lucius,
Hang in there and I understand the frustration. I've been on top of my 25' Sovereign repairing a broken AC shroud which would not have made it to the rally in one piece. Front mounting screw holes were cracked on one side and U shaped with complete seperation on the other front side. JB Weld took care of that and it's back on. I've also done some caulking to stop a small leak. Sometime this summer I will have to replace both holding tank vent gaskets. Right now I look like I'm ready to travel so I wish you the same.

Must be nice for you guys to have warm enough weather to work on your trailers. It is just getting warm enough for me to think of putting the batteries back in mine and start to get everything checked out after the winter. So looking forward to this rally. It will be the earliest start to a season for us.

I'm just now getting good weather to start finishing up some projects.

My new axles should be here this week.

That project is going to the top of the list.

Smile Name tag reminder

Name tag holders will be provided for the rally but it's up to you to make your own name tags. The holders will be similar to the ones at Topsail and will hold a 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 name tag. There will be a prize of programmable sign baseball caps for the two judged best!!

It seems this rally will have everything including the "whole hog"

Bocce ball instructions are attached for those who want to play.

Hey Li Pets.Take some more pics of your Airstream and post them.I want to see what all you have done since we talked at the Can Opener.
By the end of this year you should be close or more than half way done for sure. Then again you might just have it finished by then
