Al- you can copy a post while in the reading mode. If you are posting or editing, in that mode you can't copy. So you could copy this post as you are reading and then paste it into a new one. That is how I got your quote below...I highlighted it, (shift key), right clicked to copy, then pasted it here...

Martin,
I have not been able to figure out how to copy and paste on this forum so please add me to your list of attendees for the bbq seminar.
I really look forward to this.

Frog Leg recipe?

He doesnít know it but his days of lounging in the pond are numbered.
Surely someone in our group has culinary experience with these amphibian creatures.
A Pot Luck dinner surprise is what Iím thinking.

Faces withheld to protect the innocent.

Just catching up reading the hassle about all the rules at the Fla State Rally. I think maybe we are too slack.
Some rules for our get together need to be in force.

1. You must arrive with a willingness to smile frequently.
2. You have to be open to at least trying to have a good time.
3. You can't sleep outside in the nude. ( unless its over 80 degrees and you are under two years old)
That's all I can come up with.

I only thought of one more:
  1. If you need more rules then the golden rule "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you", then this is probably not the rally for you .

Photos and Photographers!

I was going to do this as a surprise, but the more I thought about it the more I thought a little pre-planning might actually be more fun. So, what is it you say? An Airstream slideshow extravaganza!

During dinner/entertainment on Saturday night, we will run a continuous playing slideshow of Airstream photos on the Drive-In (I'll bring our 10' x 20' screen) - from the days events at Hiawassee, the last Hiawassee rally and Topsail.

So what will we need to make this really cool? First, if you have any photos you have taken at our previous events, or particular photos you'd like included, send me a PM and we'll figure out how to get me the pics.

Second, take a lot of photos at the event - the pig roast ought to be prime fodder. Just make sure to get me your camera - I'll have my laptop there and we can download your camera photos right onto the laptop.

So, snap away you shutterbugs!

By Laws Update
1. Own a vintage camper, and or, know someone who does.
2. Live in or have lived in Pickens County, or know someone who does.
3. Be of general good disposition.

we may add the nude thing since our youngest member will trun two soon!

the whole newletter is on my link

Lawrence Welk? No problem. However, I was suggesting a Doris Day tune for the music jam...I think Alan has dismissed it though.

Regarding rules, as the Trailer Park Troubadoors say in "Living In Aluminum":
"There's something to be said about committment;
Live the Golden Rule with God on your side.
But don't forget another Code of Living;
It's the Aluminum Rule: 'Thou shalt enjoy the ride'."

I am some I will be glad to share! Last fall's pics are on a CD, I can put Topsail on a CD. Would mailing them to you be the best way? If so, pm me your address and I'll get them in the mail to you this week.

Also, there are pictures from our previous rallies at Hiawasee are on the photo section here on the forums. Can you download them as well? There are some good pics of Pizzachop and his kids in the canoes. Let me know if you can't download them and I'll look for the CD to send also.

Thanks!
