Also, I just went to the rally calendar page and registered. There are only 4 other folks registered on the Forum's Rally Calendar page. I know there are more than that that are attending. Don't forget to go to the Rally Calendar and go to the month of April and sign in that you will be attending this rally so we will get a head count of attendees.
There are two other rallies that week end on the Forum's Rally Calendar so make sure you click on the right one.

I am booked into site B12 for Sat night and Sunday night. I will see whether we can make it Friday eve also, but for sure Sat/Sun home on Monday.
I just booked my site for Friday night as well as Sat & Sun. We'll get there probably around 6:30pm or so Friday.
Late last year, the '84 31' Sovereign was still on the RV sales lot just west of Young Harris. During the Fall Leaf Thing, Sue and I stopped and looked, and talked to the salesman. At $12,500, it seemed kinda expensive, but looked nice. I am curious whether anyone else had seen it. If still on sale, it would be fun to stop and look again, now that I have my own 31' project, and know more about it.
Which reminds me: at this point, I am planning to bring our '61 since I keep getting deeper into the '73. I think I will start a thread with my trials and tribulations...and guesses and fumbles.
See you all in Hiawassee. (Which reminds me of my now-favorite line when people here in the North Georgia mountains ask me where I moved from: "What makes you all think I'm not from around here?")

By Laws Update 1. 1.Own a vintage camper, and or, know someone who does. 2. 2.Live in or have lived in Pickens County, or know someone who does. 3. 3.Be of general good disposition, or know someone who is..

Glad you all enjoyed that...wait til you meet the directors...and you will! We are all so excited! We hesitated at first as we're going to Stone Mtn for Spring break and weren't sure about being out every other weekend. Luckily, when put to a vote the directors came through for me and the motion carried. I'm looking forward to returning to the fair grounds, my father on one of our trips from Tampa to the Mountians in about 75, won the Beachnut Tobacco Spitting Contest. Its been a thing of family legend. He's always had a sinus thing, and spits alot...mom says "hey look a spitting contest, right up your alley" a little while later we hear them announce dad over the speakers as the announcer says, "this doesn't look like your typical chewer, long hair, bermuda shorts, and a tank top" well it came down to a spit off... and Dad won. His reward, a brass spitoon, and kiss from the Ga Mtn Fair Queen...only problem was she refused to kiss old dad...first time he'd chewed tobacco and was sick as a dog!!!!! Only hope I'll give my kids something along those lines...might even see if Dad will let me take the spitoon home for a visit!

Rallys twice a year..Lots of fun, food, and aluminum.
My husband and I are thinking of ditching the Rod Run and coming to the N. Ga Rally and since it will be our Maiden Voyage, what would be the best route to take from Knoxville to Hiwassee? We actually live 45 miles west of knoxville, but most people have never heard of Kingston.
Thanks
