I may get DAD to come! and mom's been his Queen for 42 years, took care of him that day...so she'll have to come too.

Alright, tuned the drums, bought new sticks and bass pedal. I'm doing my part for mid-life crisis - are there any horns out there? I've gotta have MORE COWBELL!

Wake the dead!
Hey, try to keep it down!
Is there something wrong with Fred?
Raise the roof!
Hey, try to keep it down!
Sorry, sometimes I just goof.
This is one of my worse fears!
Hey, try to keep it down!
No, no don’t cover your ears!
At me; why is everyone looking?
No, I’m not talk’n about the volume
It’s my cooking!

Howdy, Brad. Good job! I have not heard from anyone with any inclination to play horns at the rally. I still haven't heard from anybody for keys !
Speaking of waking the dead, maybe some Grateful Dead! Ripple is one of my favs (the song, not the "wine" ).

It occurred to me that non-musically inclined folk would have no clue that Ripple and Touch of Grey are songs recorded by the Grateful Dead!
That's why Alan's post grabbed my funny bone.

Something tells me there will be a slightly twisted but happy energy infusing this rally. I mean, how many rallies have a whole pig roast, a rockin' live band that recruits anything from drums to keyboards to cowbells, a few Dead Heads of varying dedication, and a memorial spittoon from festivals past. Combine all this with a touch of Springstream fever and who can resist? Everyone come "Truckin'" on down now.
Great to see you on board A-Merry-Can!
I'll have my rally with a twist of aluminum, please . . . .
