Antsy McClain & Trailer Park Troubadours

Antsy McClain and the Trailer Park Troubadours will be performing at the Columbia County Fair in Dayton Washington, Sept 7 & 8th, 2007. The fair has generously offered a field for dry camping for any interested Airstreamers to camp and attend the fair and the entertainment!

For those who are wondering, Dayton, Washington is about 60 miles east of Tri-Cities, 276 miles from Portland, OR, 291 miles from Boise, ID, 129 miles south of Spokane, 453 miles west of Butte. Centrally located!

The Troubadours have not performed in the Pacific Northwest and are excited about being here. They have performed at Airstream homecomings in the past and perform fun, humorous songs such as "Living in Aluminum." This should guarantee a fun time for Airstreamers!

They have a new CD called Trailercana that is climbing the charts on the XM X Country Channel. Their website is Antsy McClain and the Trailer Park Troubadours

Sign up for this Airstream get together and enjoy a great performance!

This is very cool! We are planning on being there for the Saturday show, We'll plan on spending the night. We may be able to come a day or 2 early and drop the trailer off (if that's seems reasonable), but can't be there on Friday Pm as I have another show about 60 miles down the road that night.

Thumbs up Trailer Park Troubadours new CD

I just received the Trailer Park Troubadours new CD, Trailercana, the below song from Youtube is my favorite. Falling in Love in America. It's Great!

Watch close to see the Airstream!

This is quality entertainment with free dry camping for a couple of nights and 2 shows for the cost of admission to the fair. Don't miss this informal rally in Dayton, Washington September 7-9th. Here's a sample!

Great video and a very nice song. The Airstream in the video is maybe a 69 or 70 Safari. Just a guess....

I just got to see them in San Francisco last Thursday. It happened to be my 10th wedding anniversary which is aluminum, so it fit right in .

If you get a chance you really need to get out and see and support these guys. Its a great show and funny too.

I relaly wish I could make it to this one. I think it's going to be the party of the year for our area (well, except maybe for Beverly Beach). But we're so behind from work and Alki's cancer treatments, we just can't spare the time for the drive. I love these guys though! If you can make it, go! I'll be wishing I was there!!

Hope you can make it Chris! It can't be anything but fun!

How's your pup doing Steph? It's so hard when our pups are sick. It's understandable you not wanting to leave.

Safari Tim......did they play "I Married Up" on your anniversary? That one comes with raising eyebrows and nodding around here. Hmmmmm?

Hi Karyn, So what is the scoop on the camping area ? Do I have to reserve a spot ? How much does it cost ? Are there any shade trees there ? Any other info you could provide would be great !

Hi Chris,

The dry camp parking is free. Cost to attend the fair is $10 a day, the show is included with fair admittance. Seniors over 65 - $8. Children 7-12 - $5, under 7 is free.

The shows will be in the evening about 8 or 8:30 Friday and Saturday. Days you can attend the fair, check out the surrounding area or visit with other Aistreamers.

We are tracking the number of folks signing up.....the fair has said there is room for 50 coaches and could possibly come up with another space for parking if needed. We have about 9 coaches coming right now, more expressing interest.

September nights can be very cool. Top off the propane and water. This is dry camping, no water or electric or sewer. There is a dump station at a state park (Lewis and Clark) about 5 miles away.

Does that help?

My daughter lives in Walla Walla, about 20 miles, if that, from Dayton and I am familiar with the area. If you don't want to dry camp, I suggest the Four Seasons RV park in Walla Walla. Really nice. Get a back-in under the trees. Dayton has a good restaurant, the Woop 'EM UP Cafe. Excellent food. Walla Walla has dozens of great Wineries. Also several really good places to eat. Its a very pretty small town that has tried hard to keep its small town charm.

If we can, we will get there also.

John
